Specialty Vocation #5: Armamentalist

Armamentalists take skills from both the mage and warrior vocation classes. Their main focus is to provide extra strength to their party members with minor spells, while decreasing the enemies' strength in the same way. They're also typically the best dressed fighter on the battlefield. They have a higher ability to cast spells than warriors and gladiators combined, and are also considerably faster.

Unlike priests, magi, and sages, the armamentalists' spells don't deal direct damage to the enemy. Instead, their spells only weaken the enemy through indirect means.

Armamentalists use a decent variety of weapons and other equipment. They choose to wield wands, swords, and bows. And while they use shields on the battlefield, they opt not to don heavier armour. They don't want to sacrifice their sense of style for extra protection.

Their Coup-de-Grace is "Voice of Experience." This special ability allows all members of the party to gain more experience from battle than they normally would. The added experience gives the party more of an edge for the next battle they go into.

Armamentalists have the class unique skill of fource. This ability provides boosts to their overall health, strength, defense, and attack.

When they reach their full potential in their vocation, armamentalists receive the Combat Action Medal. This award increases the likelihood of them performing a Coup-de-Grace, while also upping their defense.
