You rubbed your eyes as you finally opened the door, you couldn't sleep for the night so you decided to go somewhere.

You ended up outside of a convenience store, you smiled as you remembered to bring your wallet.

You opened the glass doors, the cold air hitting your skin as you entered. A soul was barely there, a person was already at the cashier, probably paying their item.

You liked the silence, you walked to where the beverages sat and simply picked a bottle of banana milk. You got your money and stood behind the hooded person.

You smiled as soon as the person behind the cashier grabbed your item, you paid for it as you bowed at the nice worker.

The main reason why you even went out of the house was to stay somewhere but there was only one table and that was occupied by the hooded person.

You slowly made your way to the table, you sipped on the drink as you sat across him, your eyes landing on his face as he looked down.

He wore his hood which made it harder to examine his features, his cheeks looked sunken, like he hasn't eaten for a while. Visible bags appeared under his eyes as you winced.

His eyes looked like they could give out any time. He looked sleepy but he was still out here in the convenience store.

Your brows furrowed as you got a good look of his whole face.

"Jungkook?"

It was as if automatically that his head perked up, the way his name rolled off your tongue gave him this slight calmness that he had longed for.

He looked at you with weak eyes as you could only stare in pity. He looked like a mess and you couldn't even speak up, you wanted to ask why he wasn't at home.

"Y-y/n?" He stuttered, as if having difficulty to say the name again. He stood up and you slowly followed. He removed his hood as it revealed his messy hair that he didn't bother to comb.

"Why are you here?" He mumbled as he turned around, ignoring the fact that you had trouble finding your words. He walked out of the convenience store and you followed, catching up to him.

"J-jungkook." You uttered, walking by his side. "Are you okay?" You asked and his pace had slowed down, making it easier for you. "I'm fine, please don't stay with me, just go home." He pleaded but you shook your head.

"No, unless you tell me that you're really fine then I'll go." You insisted as he stopped infront of his house.

He faced you and you gulped, you could see tears flowing down against his thin face. "Please just go, you're wasting your time with me." He shakily said as he was getting ready to go but you held his bony wrist gently, putting him back to his place.

"No Jungkook, you might not believe me but looking at you makes me so scared, so worried, I can't even see you in school and you won't let me get to see you a bit outside?" You breathily asked and he didn't bother to answer.

"You've gone thinner, do you even know what time it is? It's almost midnight but you're still not sleeping, you look tired, why don't you understand that, I don't care if it's a Friday, a Friday isn't an excuse to staying late."

"I'm worried to hell Jungkook, I can't bare looking at you and do nothing, why are you pushing me away? I'm here for you, please." You begged as you stood closer to him, his tears had increased as you said every word, he felt guilty. He wanted to talk to you for those past months but now that you were here, he was pushing you away.

You hesitated as you trapped the boy in a hug, sighing as you sunk your face against his big hoodie. "You're so thin, I can't even hug you tighter." You chuckled, ignoring the tears that flowed from your eyes.

"Let me stay with you until you sleep." He hummed in response, feeling calm and happy as he was caged inside your heartwarming hug.

He led you to his room and you stayed up all night just to make sure that he had rest. You didn't really like fighting sleep but you were ready to battle with it if it means that Jungkook will be getting rest.

You smiled as his room was filled with his silent snores, the moonlight from the window had perfectly shone on his face. A smile was hanging on his lips and that made you contented, for some reason, seeing him smile made you at ease, like you had finally finished the day.

The clock had struck to one o'clock in the morning.

But for Jungkook, you did more than finish the day, you began his smile—when he thought his happiness already ended.
