I crushed my lips on to hers, but she didn’t push me away. Instead she kissed back. By the time I broke the kiss, we were both breathless. She gave me a small smile before looking forward again. I looked around, no one had seen us. My heart was melting on the inside as I thought, “Smooth Caspian, smooth.” For the rest of the lesson we didn’t look at each other. We just did the boring work that Mr Blight gave us quietly.
After school- three fifteen pm
“Hey Rachel! Do you think I could take you out to the movies later?” I beamed at her with my pearly whites.
“Sure! Do you want to go now? I think there’s a really good movie called ‘Love struck’ that’s on at four. It’s about love and it’s so romantic and stuff.”
“Yeah, cool. Let’s go.” I tried to act like I didn’t care, but I hated the date once she said it was a romantic movie. I found them so plain, with no blood, violence and everything it takes for a movie to be good. But at least I could get to kiss her again. There’s always that one part where it’s the perfect moment to kiss the girl.
“Caspian where’s your ride?”
“It’s at home. School is really close to my house so I don’t ride it here.” I turned around as I headed for home.
“Okay,” She chuckled as she followed me.
As we reached my house, I opened the garage. I drove out on a black motorcycle on to the side of the gravel road.
“Caspian! There is no way I’m getting on that thing!” she screamed as she took a few steps back.
“Why not? She won’t bite. If you’re scared you can hold on to me.” I teased as I gave her quick wink.
“You are the only thing I can hold on to if I did get on that monster with you.”
“Please Rachel. I promise you’ll love it! Please get on! Or else…” I pleaded as I tried to make the last two words as threatening as possible.
“Or else what?” she smiled as she dared me.
I jumped towards her as I tickled her with all my might. She burst out laughing as she fell on to the ground.
“Stop Caspian! Stop!” She squealed as she tried to gasp for air.
“Not until you promise to get on my bike!” I threatened as I tickled her harder.
“Okay! I promise!”
I drew back all ten of my wiggly weapons as I helped her to her feet. I gave her a helmet as I got on to my bike. She climbed onto the back, still panting hard as she placed her arms around me.
“Hold on!” I shouted as I started the motor. I felt her squeeze me tighter as I started to speed of.
“Slow down Caspian!” she screamed as she gave me a death hug.
I ignored what she said and drove faster. Everything around us was a blur, while all we heard was the wind brushing past behind us. Soon enough we reached the theatre and I quickly parked my bike.
“So how was it?” I jumped of my bike as I turned around. I burst out laughing as I saw a girl with messy hair sticking up in all directions.
“Shut up! I never want to ride that thing again!”
“That’s too bad, because you got another ticket for the way back.” I chuckled as I carried her off the bike.
I placed my hand around her waist as we headed inside. We bought two tickets and we headed to the cinema food stand which was right next to where we paid for he tickets.
