Louis' POV

"How was your first day?" mum asks me once I shut the black front door. Toeing off my shoes, I adjust my glasses on the bridge of my nose and answer with a slight nod.

"Made any friends?" mum asks me another question "I wouldn't classify Niall a friend" I say "Why, may I ask" mum sits on the sofa and gesturing for me to follow her suit.

Sighing, I plop down crossed-legged. "He just doesn't seem my type of friend" seeing a confused expression written on her face I explain with more detail.

"I mean, we are complete opposites. He gets into trouble, doesn't finish his work, easily distracted, loud. It's just- he's a nice lad, but.."I trail off not knowing what else to say.

Well what else is there to say anyway? It's like telling someone an unkown smoothie flavour then running out of flavoured ingredients to be said, because, well that's it.

"I love you dearly, Lou but don't you think you need to have a bit of fun. Education is important but live a little" my mother tells me.

Live a little?! If I don't fully concentrate on my school work, my life and future will go down the drain! Okay, maybe I'm being a bit melodramatic but I have a reason.

"Live a little? Live a little? How can I just live a little?!" I exclaim, nudging my glasses up. "I am writing my future here and you expect me to live a little. Nonononono. In Doncaster everything was going downhill and even though my grades were only B's I kept my ground. I do not want to be a total screw up like my bullies at home. I'm going to prove them wrong."

I didn't notice my chest heaving up and down making me realise I'm panting heavily.

"Oh Lou, you take things so seriously. What happened to you telling jokes, fooling around and pulling pranks?" mum says

"You told me to grow up" I shrug remembering how I used to be so afraid of growing up.

"And I did"

With that, I sling my bag around my shoulder and went up to my bedroom.

Harry's POV

"See ya, mate!" I shout across the pitch seeing Zayn dissappear in the locker rooms with a wave.

Breathing in the fresh late autumn afternoon, I take out my car keys to my new Black Range Rover. Hearing the flash of the light and click of the car, I open the door slipping inside the driver's seat. Turning on the engine causing it to roar I head towards my home.

"I'm home!" I holler in the big house that can be listed as a mansion.

"Harry, can you get Lucy from her friend's birthday party in an hour for me, please?" my mum comes out of the living room with her ironed blazer and pencil skirt. I nod watching as she fiddles with her car keys in her grey purse. "Thank you" she clicks down to the front door with her black polished high heels in which I have no idea how woman walk in.

She shuts the door with a faint click meaning I'm alone. I sigh heading to the screening room which I call the mini cinema. I set an alarm on my phone to indicate that I need to pick up Lucy and text my mother where the adress to the party is taking place at.

Switching on the screen, I watch an episode of 'F•R•I•E•N•D•S'

1and a half episodes later, I switch the programme off and look at the endless framed pictures on the maroon wall which I've never taken my time to take an interest in.

I smile at the picture of my mum and Robin sitting on the bench outside of our garden, the sun reflecting off the lens of the camera looking like the picture is effected.
