Chapter 14

Harry'sPOV

"Mum, I involuntarily wanted to be in the hospital" I groan, watching as she slots the set of keys in the locks and clicking the door open.

"And I voluntarily wanted you to come home. I've got 2 weeks off" mum slides inside the house but I stay put in front of the doorway. Normally, I would be ecstatic that my mum has taken time off work but today and the rest of the 2 weeks, is resulting onto her babying me (I'm 17 for fucks sake!).

"Mum!" I stomp my foot on the concrete.

"Harry! I just want you to stay here for 2 or 3 days at least then you can go and visit Louis. I'm not discouraging you for not paying a visit to Louis as he is a delightful young lad, I'm just saying to take some time with yourself and your family. Gemma will be staying for a week." With that my mum walks inside the house and turns a corner.

Great.

"Haz, you can see him tomorrow. Getting attached?" Gemma jumps next me, startled by the new coming precense.

"I don't like him like that!" I protest at the smirking girl. "Uh huh" she says slowly.

Stupid Louis for being.. Louis. What is this boy doing to me? I need to get normal. I need to find a distraction from him.

"Harry Styles,"

I whip my head around to the red headed girl with Lucy in her arms.

Foundit.

"In the flesh" I chuckle, taking Lucy out of Cathy's hold and onto my hips where Lucy wraps her legs around my waist.

"You're okay!" Lucy giggles and kisses my cheek. "Unfortunately" I say under my breath. I nod to my sister.

"Thanks for looking after her" I tell Cathy. She just smiles and shrugs, "Pleasure, Lucy is a wonderful girl," I turn to the small girl in my arms and kiss her nose. This girl means everything to me, it's not even funny.

"Aren't you sweetie?" Cathy pinched Lucy's cheeks slightly making Lucy frown.

"Louis can only call me that" her frown deepens. Well..awkward. Lucy is quite attached to the timid lad.

"Louis?" Cathy raises an eyebrow at me, silently asking for an explanation.

"He's just a boy" I state and it seems like I've done something bad as Gemma has to walk right in and bypass the 3 of us.

"That Harry has a crush on" Gemma remarks and slides out the hallway and runs up the stairs before I could strangle the fucking life out of her because what hell did I do to her?! I though we loved each other!

"Y-You're ga-"

"NO! I mean, no. Gemma's just trying to piss me off. Louis ain't even my friend" I let Lucy down as she starts to punch my chest. "You're being mean to Louis!" and with that she runs up the stairs to what I presume is Gemma's bedroom.

I really thought I was getting along with my siblings but I guess not.

"Wanna go to the park?" I put on my jacket as Cathy agrees and puts her coat on as well. I lock the door behind me as we start to head towards the small park where many memories have been made in my lifetime.

"So, how's grade 11 for you?" Cathy opens the small yellow gate and starts walking towards the swingset on the far end of the park.

"Shouldn't you know? You're in 11 as well" I slide glance at the girl already swinging her feet up in the air on the black plastic seat. "I know, I just wanted to talk about something" she laughs. I sit on the swing next to her and move back and fourth with only slight movement.
