Louis' POV

"Mate, you okay?" I hear Niall's voice from the other side of the wooden door.

"Just peachy" I manage to say out due to my pain and embarrassment.

This is beyond embarrassing! I can't believe this is happening! To me as well. What did I ever do to get this? I don't even know how to get rid of this so called 'boner'. Not gonna ask Niall otherwise he'll just laugh at my face..again. Then a knock interrupts my thoughts.

"Lou, are you getting yourself off or what?"

I flush red for what feels like the 100th time today.

"Niall! No! Just..how do you get ride of it?" I ask sheepishly, my sentence going forceful then quiter at the end. Then I hear a booming laugh. Glad he finds this situation humorous.

"Just have a cold shower." I hear him walk away making me practically run to the shower and turning the cold on. Stripping out of my clothes, I thank myself for preparing two of my towels for tomorrow morning. Hesitantly putting my hand under the spitting watter, I hiss at the icy feeling. Turning the hot knob on a tad and testing the water again, I hop inside. Wait, why does a cold shower help?

Opening the bathroom door, feeling more refreshed and in no agony whatsoever in my lower regions, I spot Niall scanning one of the 5 bookshelves on the left wall of my room. Glad that I don't have a towel wrapped around my waist while someone is in the room I smile at his curious expression.

"Snoop much?" I murmur once I'm near his side. He jumps slightly but regains his posture with a slight nod and smile.

"Feel better?" he teases making me slap him lightly on the arm. "You put your books alphabetical order my the author's last name?" Niall asks incredulously, tracing the 'W' on the spine of the book Wuthering Heights. "Why? Problem?" my lips turning into a mere frown. "Nope" Niall responds, popping the P.

He continues reading the titles of the many books I own. He then walks to the opposite wall where only 3 shelves are displayed. After a while, he walks to my bookcase covering half of my wall.

"More books? Seriously Lou, how many do you have?" Niall asks in astonishment. "They're all in here. These are the ones that are my absolute favourites" I say, following his foot steps. I crouch down and pick one of my favourites as he does the same. We both cross our legs.

"This book is called Looking For Alaska" I tell Niall who watches my every move. "Give me a brief description of the book and who knows, I might read it" Niall says making me grin in delight.

"Basically, there's this boy named Miles who is interested in people's last words and he wants to search a great perhaps so he tells his parents he wants to go to this boarding school. They let him go and he meets the Colonel, his roomate. The Colonel shows him this girl called, Alaska which took Miles-who is also named Pudge-a liking for her. This all took place before so shortly after, the book was placed in after. They all get drunk and Pude and Alaska kiss. The following morning she goes loony. She can't find her way out of the labyrinth so she goes straight through." I explain

"What? I don't get the ending" Niall furrows his eyebrows. "Well that's for you to figure out and for me to know" I smirk at his lost face. "Give me the book, I wanna read it" and with that I place the paperback in his awaiting hand.

"Niall, do your parents know where you are?" my mum comes in, knocking the door in the process. What's the point in knocking if you're just going to go in without an answer anyway?
