My parents are talking about something in their room, while Dylan and I are just staring at each other. I am currently reading a book, while constantly looking up at him and blushing. He comes up to me and closes my book, I gasp "Oh come on, I was so close to finishing the chapter". He just laughs and picks me up, I squeal playfully yelling at him to put me down. He agrees to but when he does I go to grab my book, he snatches it off the nightstand table. Knowing our height differences he teases the book over my head. I jump but I'm still not tall enough to reach him, and knowing he has the advantage he smirks. "I'll give the book back if I can get a kiss", he says jokingly. I grab the book put it down, stand on my tippy toes, and kiss him on the lips. The kiss is gentle, sweet, and long. His lips are so soft and plump, the kiss turns into a lot of kissing.  Basically we made out, and my parents had no idea.   When my parents came out they told me they would like to discuss something with me, but Dylan could listen if he wanted.  I asked them "So what's going on"?  They frown "We heard some news from the officers, Ian made bail.  Not just that but he requested to talk with you and the officers granted him to do so but only for ten minutes.  Also Snowball's funeral has been moved back two days Cuz we know how hard it is for you".   I nod slowly, and embrace Dylan silently crying.  I whisper to him "I'm not ready to say Goodbye".  He nods understanding, and wipes my tears away with his thumb.   My parents look so happy, they pull us in for a group hug.   The night blurs by so fast, and it's the next day.  Today I have to talk to Ian and listen to what he has to say.   I get up slowly, and change into a nice short white dress.  I curl the ends of my blonde hair, and complete the look with cowgirl boots.  I drive to the park that Ian asked to meet me at, and I walk to the bench and wait.  He shows up fifteen minutes later, he looks cleaned up with a nice haircut.  He smiles and sits down.  "I'm glad you agreed to meet me, I'm so sorry about the last time we met.  I was completely drunk, but that's no excuse for the way I acted.  Taylor, after everything we've been through I still wanna be best friends. Please forgive me"?  I didn't know how to respond, he is asking for forgiveness after everything?  I pull myself together and speak, "I would like to be best friends again but you have to prove your not gonna attempt to hurt me or anyone I care about.  I forgive you Ian, but please don't ever get drunk again".   We both laugh and he grins. "No promises".   I stand up and we hug, then we leave the park. I drive home and he drives to his home.  When I get back Dylan picks me up and twirls me, "I missed you".   I smile and blush "I missed you too babe".   We sit down and talk all about My encounter with Ian, he nods understanding my reasoning.  We hold hands and my parents come down stairs all dolled up, I laugh "Hey, where are y'all going"?  They grin, and Lisa says "Your Dad and I are going dancing at the Shiny Pearl, wanna meet us there in Ten"?    We both grin, and nod.  I rush upstairs to start getting ready, I change into a nice short red dress and nice black heels.  I re-curl my blonde ends, and touch up with some lip gloss.  I leave my room, and meet Dylan downstairs who's wearing a black button up with a red tie, and nice black pants.  His hair is nicely slicked back, and I can smell the cologne he just applied.   He lights up when he sees me, and grabs my hand. We walk to the car, and he opens my door for me.  When we get there, everyone is seated waiting for the band to play a new song.  Dylan and I take our seats with my parents, the band arrives from break.  I grin, it's time to dance.  The band starts playing a nice slow song, the building door chimes and in walks in Ian?  Not just that but he brought Vanessa with him.  They see us and wave, my stomach churns and I feel like this Night is gonna end really bad.
