Dave Miller sat at his desk, trying to manage and organize CIA files, keeping them on there own Networks separate from American PSDB cloud services. American PSDB is a relatively large company, with 17 petabytes (17 000 000 Gigabytes) of storage being used (13 of which belongs to the US government, and 9 of which belongs to the CIA). The US government decided to use American PSDB as a back up for the most secret information so that they can remove it from their computers if they get hacked.
Dave Miller, Joe Miller, Dan Manor, and Linda Torell were working in a cubicle. Sad. They all had offices, but were working together in a cubicle due to renovations. They're job is to manage the 17 petabytes of data in the system. Of course, they're not alone. 1,300 other people do the same thing. The office was in chaos after the whole court thing. The US government is 75% of the revenue going to American PSDB. When the cut off point comes, 998 people will have to get laid off, as the data they were managing no longer exists, and neither was the money coming from they data that was paying them.
"Hey, my data looks pretty stable," said Dave to his cubicle friends. "I'm going to head on down to Starbucks quickly and get a coffee. Any of you want anything?" His brother Joe gave him a five dollar bill and said, "Of course! It's 6 in the morning! I'll take a Flat white please." Dave and Joe were not twins, yet they looked identical, with dark, caramel coloured hair, unusually large noses, and they were both rather chubby. Linda Torell couldn't be different. She was like your stereotypical old lady, with short curly hair, and glasses. "I'll have a tea please," she said in her old lady voice, "tea is always better than coffee."
Lastly Dan Manor was a young, very large man. He was near bald on the top of his head, and near beardless in the bottom. "I'm good," he said. Dave got up, checked to make sure there was no one higher up the ranks that saw him leave, and then left. He rode his motorcycle 2 minutes down the road, then went into the Starbucks. "I'll have 2 flat whites and a green tea please," said Dave, "and also can you please turn on the news?" Dave was curious to see the stock price of American PSDB. There was a TV in the corner of the room, which was playing football at the time. "Of course," said the barista. She turned around, changed the channel, and got to work on the coffees. And the tea. Tea is always better than coffee.
