Dave Miller only had one choice: to backtrack. He started to go back to the elevator. The room is a big room. In the same room, about 50 meters away, someone yelled, "There! He's in!" The whole room stared at Dave Miller walking out the door. Dave stayed focused. He moved and didn't stop until he got to the elevator. Dave pushed the button, but a light at the top saying "LOCKDOWN" illuminated and he heard 3 beeps. He went into an empty office. Hiding would do no good as all the offices were glass. On the phone it said "MISSION ROOM - 302". So he dialed 302. Then he left and turned the corner and kept walking, trying to fit in as much as possible. "The phone, which office is it from?" Dave heard Dr Murk ask. 3 guards went into the office, which was very large. "Turn that office inside out!"
Meanwhile, Dave had found an exit, and was now on the street. At his job with American PSDB, part of the job was that you get a card that you can scan against anything. He pulled it out and used it on the bus. Beep! It worked. He felt satisfaction, as he got farther and farther away from his manhunt. But his manhunt is never too far behind. A whole bunch of people got on, so he moved to the other side. Only then did he notice that the camera was following him. Meanwhile, at his manhunt, "Video footage has him spotted at the 836 bus line!"
"Chase 1-8 get on him. Cam 1, keep your footage live." Dave went to the back where footage was faint. Then he noticed: it was a double decker. He could hide from cameras in the stairwell. He stayed there until he noticed 8 people dressed in suits rushing for the bus. He kicked open the emergency exit, and snuck onto the back of a bus going the other way using the emergency exit, and hid in the stairwell. "Doctor, sir, he checked the whole bus, he's not on."
"That's not possible."
"The emergency exit is unlatched. He jumped out of the bus like a maniac." Chase 1 gathered everyone on the chase team, and they all left, looked over the area, and saw no sign of a certain Dave Miller. Meanwhile, Dave finally got to a telephone booth.
