Water The Garden Like Nothing Happened

"Phone call recorded word 'Jane'.  We're trying to get the recording."  The CIA was back to square one.  They had set a code across all the cities telephones to start recording if any key words were said, such as Joe, Jane (Dave's wife), CIA, After me, words that Dave Miller would probably say.  "Well, get that recording in here."  The Cam team (short for camera, but they managed all surveillance, including audio) was working furiously to get that recording.  "Jane!  I'm on my way home.  Be careful."  It was an answering machine.  What he said to Jane didn't matter.  The CIA already emptied his house of people and things.

They just wanted to make sure it was Miller.  "We have a voice match, sir," said Cam2.  "Alright.  Where is this telephone?"  Everyone buried themselves in their computers trying to find out.  "It's telephone number 906.  That's on the corner of 116th and 84th."  Satellite Video Was then projected on the screen of the area.  13 people were walking.  "Chase, go down there and divide into 4 syndicates.  Each syndicate will be instructed separately.  You hear me?"  8 people made their way out, 2 by 2.  As people walked further and further from the booth, the search area increased at walking pace.  Chase1-2 went North, Chase 3-4 went east, as east was where Dave's house was and they were the most skilled.

"Play that tape again!" Said Dr Murk.  "Jane.  I'm on my way home.  Be careful."  Dr Murk raised his hands in the air out of frustration.  He blinked.  Rapidly.  For some strange reason.  "If he's on his way home, why are we sending people out North, East, South, West?  Send them all out east!  Comm1!"  Comm1 ordered them to all go East.

Dave Miller arrived at his house.  He took out his key and put it in the lock.  Nothing.  The lock had been changed.  He went into the backyard.  The look to the basement had been changed too.  All the windows had been locked.  The house had been meddled with.  Luckily, the Chase team didn't know, he heard a loud bang, and footsteps of an army running around his house.  He looked around.  A forest.  He ran.  He heard yelling and banging from the house.  He knew that at any moment of time, the Chase team would be informed of the lock out.

"Chase!  Millers been locked out.  He's not in the house.  You've probably scared him off.  Look for him in the forest and find him."  In the forest, he had a garden.  A huge 3 layer 30 x 30m garden as big as a house, full of rows, layers, columns and places to hide.  He ran into it, and started watering it as if nothing had happened.  The first was small, with a townhouse complex on the other side.  It was so small, the garden was closer to the townhouse complex.  It could have been anyone's.  There was no sign it was his.  Sure enough, the Chase team ran right by.  And all David Miller had done was water the garden as if nothing had ever happened.
