CHAPTER 3

*Jarren's POV*

Sht. what the hell am I gonna do? I didn't even think before riding my bike over here; my feet just moved on their own. I sighed before shoving my hands in my pant pockets and slowly striding towards where Jay and Alex were standing speechless. When I stood in front of them I fixed my gaze to my feet; I was too embarrassed to look her in the eye, "Look Jay, I'm sorry about earlier. I might've over reacted just a little bit."

I could hear her step closer to me, "A little bit?" Hurt was all too noticeable in her voice.

I finally looked up and saw the pain in her eyes, "Jay, I'm so sorry. It'll never happen again I promise. I didn't mean to hurt you." I spoke hoping that it would return her to her normally cheery self. I hated seeing her like this.

She grinned, "It's ok. I'll let it slide this time." She winked. I let out a sigh of relief; I hated making the girl I like sad.

I smirked, "So, does this mean we're cool?" I looked into her eyes hopeful.

She rolled her eyes, "Yes we're cool. Now go home." She smirked

I groaned, "Aw, do I have to?" I spoke while skidding my foot against the ground.

She giggled, "You have five freakin seconds to get on your bike and ride away before I change my mind."

I gasped, "You wouldn't dare!"

She raised her eye brow before smirking, "Five."

My eyes grew wide as I rushed to get on my bike and ride away before she reached one and all hope was lost. It only took about three seconds for me to get on my bike; Jay stopped counting as she saw me ride off. I waved back, "Bye see ya tomorrow!"

I barely heard her faint bye as I rode off into the distance.

*Jaylen's POV*

I couldn't help but chuckle as I watched Jarren's slowly reseating image, "He's so ridiculous."

I looked down to see Alex giggling, "I knew there was I reason you guys were friends!"

"Wow! Thanks Umpa." I spoke now walking towards the hallway.

She skipped to catch up with me, "Anytime."

Alex and my nights were always pretty crazy; probably because we're crazy. I remember just last week we shared a Rockstar and we were literally skipping around and spinning till we were dizy.

She beat me to the inside of my house; the very first thing she did when she walked inside my house was, of course, raid my fridge. I walked over to where she was now rummaging through my fridge, searching for something good, and leaned against the fridge, "There's not really anything in there."

She sighed before finally shutting the fridge and looking up at me, "Why doesn't that surprise me? We really need to stop being fat kids." She giggled before jumping on my couch.

I followed to where she was and stood so that my elbows were leaning against the back of the couch, "Like that's gonna happen." I giggled. Alex and I weren't really fat but we definitely ate like we were; don't ask me where it all goes, I'd actually like to know that one myself.

I slowly strolled over to where my TV was and plugged in my iPhone so that I could play my music. Something by Black Veil Brides came on and I decided to lay on the floor. I don't even know how long we laid there, just that my music slowly flipped through and played everything from AC/DC to We the Kings.
