Chapter 2: New Friends?

Aaliyah POV

I couldn't help but laugh at Serenity's statement along with the other students, it was just too funny. While the teacher tried to calm the class down serenity walked over to the empty chair beside me. If its one thing I hated was sitting next to someone. 'okay stay calm Aaliyah, maybe she won't even talk to you.' i sigh trying to calm down. "Hey, are you okay? your face is a little red" I jump slightly and turn towards her 'ahhhh what do I say??' I gulp "u-umm yes I'm okay, its um just a little hot in here" I look down and she laughs. 'oh god what did I say that was so funny?!' she puts her hand out and I shake her hand. " I'm Serenity, as you may already know, and you are?" "My name is Aaliyah, nice to meet you." I take my hand away and blush lightly looking around as I hear whispers and feel people staring at us. "um Serenity, you might not want to sit by me or talk to me anymore." she looks so confused and I give a sad laugh "And why not?" I look at her a little shocked I mean cant she already tell? "because I'm a loser, a nerd, no one wants to hang out with me, if you do then you might lose the chance to become popular" She shakes her head and sighs, "I would rather have one real friend than a few fake ones." I can't help but laugh a little and shake my head. "So from now on Aaliyah, I and you are friends until every end!" I'm too shocked to say anything so I just nod my head and smile."

*Time skip till lunchtime*

At the end of first period I told Serenity to meet me at the roof during lunch, only a few people are allowed up here and since I pretty close with Mrs.angel she lets me come up here. (yes I know, it's like every anime you fricken watch but shhhh.) I look down at the all the other students going to their cars with their friends or just sitting on the benches and having a good time. A few minutes pass by and the door opens. "hey Seren...oh" She smiles and points to Aston. "Hey, Aaliyah! I made some new friends and invited them to have lunch with us is that okay?" I was going to tell her, no, but I couldn't, she just seemed so happy. I nod and look at them. 'At least its only two people' i thought to myself. They walk over to me and we sit in a circle so its easier to talk to each other. "So Aaliyah this is Aston and Tanner, I met them in 5th period, So I thought it would be nice if we all became friends!" Aston and Tanner look at me. Tanner is the first one too speak up "I think we are all going to become great friends" Aston and Serenity both nod and smile. I don't know what came over me, I just started crying. Its probably because I've never had anyone to call my friends. instead of making one friend today, I made three, and I couldn't be happier. 

*Time skip after school*

Serenity POV

"So whose house are we hanging out at?"  Aaliyah blushed lightly " well if you guys want we can go to mine. We all agreed and walked to my car, since everyone else either got dropped off or walk, wow what a bunch of weirdos. Aaliyah and I sat in front while the boys sat in the back. "yeah it's just up the street and around the corner" I followed Aaliyah directions and pulled up to her house. We all got out and walked up to her door, she unlocked it and all you could hear is little kids screaming, she opened the door and we were all shocked except Aaliyah. "Aali!!!" two twin girls ran up to her and hugged her to death "we missed you!" "Aunty Kristen (Aaliyah's mom, I don't remember if I gave her a name or not well I did now and her name is Kristen) didn't tell us you were bringing your boyfriend and friends!"I couldn't help but burst out laughing as well as the guys as Aaliyah blushed bright red and chased the two girls away.
