The summer before senior year should be spent hanging out with friends, eating way too much junk food, and sleeping. I had not anticipated a trip to Thailand. My father wanted the family to visit his parents, who are getting older, and drag us around to learn about our culture. My little sister is having a blast. Me not so much. Don't get me wrong I love my grandparents and I haven't seen them since I was a toddler, but I had epic plans for this summer and my dad ruined them.

"Stop sulking. We are on the beach. Enjoy the sun, the sea kissed air, and the eye candy," my sister says.

Lazily turning my head I can see that she has her sunglasses pulled half off her face and is drooling over the scantily clad bodies running to and fro. I call my sister little but the fact is we are only a year apart. I turned seventeen in the spring and she turned sixteen in the summer.

"Oooo look at that one! If those swimmers were any tighter," Kaari squeals. Trolling for cute boys is just something Kaari and I do together. I came out at thirteen. My sister thinks having a gay brother is the coolest thing ever. I am pretty cool, but it has been nice having someone support me unconditionally.

Laughing I cover her eyes with my hand. "You don't need to see that!" I will admit he had a body to be envied but he wasn't leaving us much to our imaginations.

"He's cute though. You should go talk to him."

"Why? It's not like we live here and we leave in three weeks."

"You never know maybe he is visiting too and lives somewhere close to us in the states," Kaari argued. "You're never going to fall in love being so pessimistic."

She isn't wrong. I have had one boyfriend for like all of two seconds my sophomore year. Kaari's numbers far surpass mine.

"I'm not pessimistic, I'm realistic." How tragic would it be to meet someone you really like and then part ways days later.

"It isn't tragic. It's romantic," Kaari sighs. I must have said that last bit out loud. "Besides its not like long distance relationships can't work, Kit. You just have to be willing to work at it."

"Are you hungry?" I ask wanting to change the subject. I know Kaari means well but getting a boyfriend isn't my top priority. Senior year is going to be all about fun. I've already been accepted to University and all I have to do is maintain my GPA, which won't be hard.

"I could eat. Get me a cold drink too," Kaari says interrupting my thoughts.

Getting in line at the food stand I check out the menu as I wait my turn. Once I'm second in line to order the boy in front of me starts searching through his pockets frantically.

"I know I brought enough money," I can hear him grumble.

Stepping up beside him I tell the girl to add his to my bill. Startled the boy looks up from his pocket searching and I am lost in his eyes. I'm also a little annoyed that I have to look up to see his eyes since he is taller than me. I wasn't blessed in the height department but everything else on me is killer. Especially my smile. Dimples for days.

"Thank you! You don't have to pay for me," he rambles.

"Not a problem. Pass it on sometime," I shrug like it's no big deal. After giving my order I step aside making room for the next person in line.

"I want to thank you again. I could have sworn I had enough money," he says cheeks pinking up slightly in embarrassment. He places his hands together close to his face and gives me a deep bow. "I'm Ming. It's nice to meet you."

Right he is giving me the traditional Thai greeting. My dad told us about that before coming here. I return his wai with a smile. "I'm Kit. Nice to meet you too."

"Number 44!"

I walk up to claim the food and the girl tells me that Ming's order is in with mine. I thank her and head back over to Ming.

"Do you mind walking over to where my sister is and then we can seperate the food?" I ask.

"Not at all."

As we approach Kaari her eyes grow as big as saucers. I know what she is thinking. Ming isn't just handsome, he's gorgeous. While he has on more clothes than most do at this beach he wears them well. The white tank accentuates his lean, toned arms and the long board shorts hang off his ass just right.

Fuck...I like him.

That smile my sister is sporting means she knows I like him.

Double fuck. She's going to make it her mission that I have a love connection.

"Kaari this is Ming. Our food got put in the same order," I explain sitting down next to her. There is an empty chair next to me that Ming plops down on.

"It's nice to meet you p'Ming," Kaari says with a wai. She paid much more attention to our father's lesson on Thai culture than I did.

"You too, n'Kaari. Are you guys here on vacation?" Ming asks as I hand him his food.

"Yes! We are here to see our grandparents. We live in the States. And you...?" my dear sister prompts. I can see the wheels turning in her pretty little head.

"I live near Bangkok. My family decided to have a staycation and we ended up here at Naklua Beach Resort. Have you been able to explore much since you have been here?" Ming has started to eat and we both follow suit. I guess he's going to stay a while.

"Not much. Our dad has taken us around where he grew up but I know he has some other places he wants to take us."

"If you are free tomorrow I can show you around Bangkok. If you like animals we have a nice zoo..." Ming offers.

"We would love to!" Kaari squeals.

We would? We don't even know this guy. He could be a serial killer.

"I swear I'm not a serial killer," Ming promises.

Shit, did I say that out loud.

"Isn't that what all serial killers say?" I grumble.

"Probably, but I really mean it."

This guy would make a fantastic serial killer because his puppy eyes are breaking me down.

"Fine!" I snap.

Ming's smile is blinding.

"But if I end up fish food I'm going to haunt you," I threaten.

"That wouldn't be so bad," Ming whispers.

I can see my sister covering her mouth with her hand. I know she wants to Awww right now.

"Should we plan on 10am tomorrow? We can meet at the front desk," Ming suggests.

"Sounds perfect, p'Ming. We will see you tomorrow," Kaari says.

After he is gone I hold my hand up to stop whatever nonsense is about to come out of my sister's mouth.

"Zip it."

She glares at me but thankfully stays quiet. Maybe I'll take her advice and enjoy the next three weeks without thinking about how it ends.

"I'm going for a swim."

I can hear her yell as I make my way into the water, "I hope you get a cramp and drown!"

Love you too, sis.

A/N

A picture of Kimmon inspired me to write this story and Grease is really one of my all time favorite movies.  This has been a lot of fun to write and it is complete, updates will most likely be frequent.  For anyone worried the main pairing is Ming-Kit along with several side couples.  I hope you enjoy my lovelies and I can't wait to hear what you think.

Until we meet again,
