KIT's POV
It has been a long time since I have set foot in a zoo. Probably not since that field trip in the sixth grade. I'm really glad Ming suggested coming here. I know Kaari is having a blast and so am I. It is another hot day in Thailand but the breeze coming off the water as we peddle the water bicycle around is cooling.
"I hope coming to the zoo isn't too lame," Ming says nervously.
"Not at all. Thank you for bringing us here."
His smile takes my breath away. Have I mentioned how handsome he is? I want to take his hand, but is that too forward? As I'm debating it in my head I feel a warmth cover my fingers. Glancing down Ming has placed his hand over mine. Turning mine over I lace my fingers with his.
"Is this okay?" I ask.
"Yes," he breathes.
"Is it strange to like someone so quickly?" I wonder out loud.
"Do you believe in love at first sight?"
We have now stopped peddling and are floating gently in the water. By some divine intervention I find that we have stopped under a shaded tree in a semi private part of the lake. I turn my body so that I am facing Ming. Do I believe in love at first sight? Before meeting Ming I would have said no, but now I'm not so sure. I feel a connection to him that I've never felt with anyone else. How can that be when we have only just met?
"I like you, Kit. I know we have just met and I know you will be leaving soon...but..."
"But..." I whisper.
"I want to spend as much time with you as I can before our time runs out. Worry about the fallout later."
I want that too. So much. With my free hand I cup Mings cheek, running my thumb over his smooth skin. He leans into the touch bringing our heads closer together. Without taking my eyes off his I lightly place my lips on his. Hearing his sigh spurs me on to deepen the kiss. I glide my tongue over his full bottom lip savoring the taste of him. When he sighs again I slip my tongue in to tangle with his. I have kissed other boys, but not one of those kisses compares to the way Ming's is making me feel. Electricity is zipping through my body making a certain part of my anatomy take notice. After a few more soft nips to those tantalizing lips I reluctantly pull back not wanting my dick to get any harder.
"Wow," Ming whispers in awe touching his mouth with trembling fingers.
"Does that answer your question?" He bites his lip, blushing furiously. Which makes me want to kiss him again, but I refrain. I don't know how long we have been floating in this spot but it is time to return the water bicycle. Once back on shore I resume holding Ming's hand as we leisurely stroll around the zoo. Kaari can call me if her and Rune can't find us. I'm happy to spend more alone time with Ming. I guess Kaari's wish is coming true. I'm falling hard and fast and already dreading the end of our vacation.

The next three weeks are seriously the best weeks of my life. Heavenly, even. Ming and his family left the resort fours days after we went to the zoo, but his parents let him and Rune stay at a relatives house close by. My parents didn't even bat an eyelash having two extra people squeezed in the car as we visited all the places my dad wanted us to see. Plus I think my dad liked having two other companions that were from his homeland helping as tour guides.
Sadly, our time is up. This is my last day here and I know I look as sad as Ming does. We spend our last night sitting on the beach watching the sunset.
"You are headed back home tomorrow. I may never see you again," Ming says sadly.
Kissing the side of his head I whisper in his ear, "Don't talk like that Ming."
"But it's true! This has been the best summer of my life and tomorrow you will be gone. It's not fair."
Letting his head fall on my shoulder I wrap mine around his.
"Kit, is this the end?"
I gently push Ming up so we are facing each other. Sliding my hands into his silky hair I kiss his sweet lips repeatedly trying to coax a smile out of him. When I feel his lips curve into a small grin I pull him into a hug that I don't want to ever end.
"Of course not, Ming. This is only the beginning."
