I couldn't help but cry in front of him. Zhengting too, was tearing up as well.

"It's because of the scandal, isn't it." I looked down at the table as my reflection looked back at me.

"No no no no!" He panicked to reassure me. "I.... We're leaving for 2 months Hua, and I've already left you for 4 months,"

"We're gonna have a busy schedule. Hua I don't want you to wait for me. Go date someone else who can-"

"Someone what? Someone who would just be a replacement for you?" I urged to not shout in the dorm. My vision was blurry and my eyes red and puffy.

"I don't want another 'someone' Zhengting... I want you-" My senses then came to me as what I was saying.

"...Never mind... forget what I said." He hiccuped as tried covering up his face, not showing his sadness or his urge to say something.

"I'm sorry..." I then stood up from the chair and walked to the entrance of the dining room. "Have a good life Zhengting. I wish you the best."

'What was I thinking? It's my fault. I deserve it.'

"Cai Hua, the CEO is ready to see to you now." "Yes, thank you." I bowed to the attendant. It has been 5 days since Zhengting and I broke up.

The CEO Du Hua had then called me to meet with her today for a meeting. Before walking into the room, I stopped and prayed that it wasn't about me and Zhengting.

'Please don't be about him, please don't be about him, please don't be-'

"Ah! You're here already. Come in." The CEO stuck her head from the door. She widely smiled at me and sat down on one of the many lounge chairs in the office.

"So you're Cai Hua, aren't you." I nodded nervously as I fiddled with my fingers in my lap. "Yes ma'am."

"Please tell me about yourself."

"Um, my brother is Cai Xukun?" I laughed nervously. CEO Du Hua then soon softly laughed with me.

"So I've heard. You position in mainly ballet, yes?" I told her it was true as we then talked about more and more.

"Tell me Hua,"

"How would you feel to be part of our new girl group for our Korean branch?"

I covered my mouth to gasped, but she then resumed talking.

"We're currently creating a group with one of our partners companies, Pledis Entertainment. We'll be putting two of our trainees in the group." She told me. I was in shock. Me?

"So, how do you feel about it?"

Thinking about it for a while, I had then decided.

"Of course," I smiled at the CEO. "I'd love to."
