"You look cute." Kitty teased as she pulled at the end of my black dress.

"Stop it." I shoved her hand away; smiling as I struggled to contain that blush that burned my cheeks.

"I never seen you look this spicy."

Kitty pulled out of the campus parking lot and began heading down the road.

"And your new glasses gives you this naughty good girl look." She noted. "I like it."

I cant lie, I was definitely swimming in a pool of her compliments. I mean, it was rare that I got that many in one day but my stomach still churned with doubt.

What am I doing?

Was I insane?

Clutched in my purse was a small bundle of cash that I was ready to toss in the air for one night with my crush.

I could hear my mother's voice in the back of my head now.

Alisha, you spend money on some insane crap.

Was this the type of 'crap' she was referring to?

I would tell myself all of this was for a good cause but lets real, was I ready to blow this money on the community and the college, or was I ready to blow this on Monte Hamilton?

Kitty pulled on to the block where many sorority and fraternity homes sat. It was a long stretch of houses and small dorms. A street that seemed so alive with students who were ready to enjoy another wild night.

"Remember." Kitty cut the engine to the vehicle a few homes away from where the main party and auction would take place. "Buddy system."

For Kitty, it was safety first.

"Of course."

"No strange ass drinks from randoms and no disappearing with strangers." She pointed with a stern look on her perfectly contoured face.

"Got it." I nodded.

"And one more thing." Her eyes flowed down my dress and back to my face. "Relax. It look like a dildo is stuck up your ass."

Ignoring her intense choice of words to describe my appearance, I nodded before I opened up the passenger door...

The party was so live. Music. Food. Drinks. Everyone either had a cup in their hand or they were reaching for one.

Kitty, seeming almost bored already with the festivities, motioned for us to head toward the kitchen.

"I'm hungry." She reached for a plate.

"As usual."

"One more sly comment." She reached across the counter for a spoon. "And we are going back to our dorm."

"Sorry mom."

I began to take in the scenery a little better; observing not only the crowd that continued to grow, but the few auction candidates that were already here.

It was mixture of the Alpha Kappa fraternity and the athletic teams of course. Each person bringing in their own flavor that would attract almost any girl here tonight.

However, I didnt see my potential buy here tonight.

"Maybe he bailed." Kitty's teeth ripped through the skin of her chicken wing.

"Who?"

"You know who."

"No, I dont." Reaching for the pitcher, I grabbed an empty cup before I poured me a full cup of the punch.
