Stop smiling.

Stop smiling.

I felt my cheeks burning from my strained muscles. I could barely contain my secret that was radiating through my smile.

Some would ask me why I appeared so happy. However none would know how my winter break or my past weekend went.

Him.

My strange little secret.

I walked into the campus building, smiling hard as I escaped the lingering winter breeze.

"Hey." I heard someone say.

"Hi." I responded to the blonde hair, green eyed sorority queen.

"A-Ashley right?" She grinned.

"Alisha." I corrected.

"Oh yeah, of course. First, I would like to say thank you for participating in the auction. Your contribution was put to great use and all of us would like to express our gratitude."

"Well, you are welcome." I nodded.

"Second, I want to make sure the night went well and there were no issues or concerns." she smiled.

"I think the night went quite well." I shrugged as if the night wasn't the best night I've ever had.

"Great. I'm sure Monte is also grateful for the night."

"I hope so." I mumbled.

"Of course the night was planned and most know of this however we would also like to clarify some things. Our guys understand that it is best to make the night magical for our beautiful sponsors. We just hope our...ladies understand that there may not be any relations past the night."

"Relations past the night?" I questioned.

"Yes." She flipped her hair. "Our sponsors-"

"Ladies." I corrected.

"Our ladies are wined and dined. Treated like queens. Even catered to in a much more...explicit way if possible. Our men make sure to end the night with a bang. We just want to make sure our ladies understand that it is nothing more."

"Is that normal for your auctions?"

"Yes." She nodded.

"Would that be like prostitution?"

"We are not pimping our men." She chuckled. "Just offering a fun night. With or without intimacy. Completely up to the participating party."

"Why is this conversation even happening?" I laughed to hide my annoyance.

"Well Ashley-"

"Alisha." I felt as though she was being a smart ass now.

"Alisha. Right. Sorry. We just don't want any of our ladies to feel some sort of way."

"Feel some type of-" I laughed. "I actually feel some type of way having this conversation. Matter of fact- what is your name again? I truly think you and I should not be having this talk."

"I'm sorry if I might have offended you."

"Might have? No, I'm offended." I assured. "So I think its best that we even cease this conversation Annie."

"Brittany."

"Whatever." I walked around her, leaving her standing in the middle of the corridor.

I know it was silly however my entire day seemed ruined. Of course I shouldn't have let the conversation from earlier get to me however I couldn't drop it.
