The party across the park sounds muffled, or maybe that's just from the ringing in my ears. Luke is saying something to all of us, but I can't hear him. When I am finally able to tear my eyes away from the scene, I find that he is staring at me pointedly.

"We tell no one," he repeats, and I nod.

Someone groans, and I look over to see Ivy taking a long stride forward. "Well, I don’t understand why we have to keep it such a secret," she says in her nasally voice.

"Why would you want to even remember this?" I ask Ivy incredulously before Luke could put her in her place.

Ivy looks me over and chuckles. "Hun, I can think of at least three good occasions as to why I should be able to bring this little event back up."

"Ivy," Ashton speaks up. "Shut up."

Ivy turns slowly on her heel to Ashton. "Ash, sweetie, don't think this is the only dirt I have on you," she singsongs. Ashton's eyes darkened, but before he could say anything, Luke steps forward again.

"Ivy, this could ruin every single one of us. Do us a favor and just keep your mouth shut this time, alright? It's better if we just try to forget."

Ivy smirks up at Luke. "Okay, Luke. Only for you, though," she says, sliding her fingers across his chest as she clicked away. Luke nods at the rest of us, and leaves as well. Soon it's just me standing there. There are footsteps behind me, and I force myself to turn to face whoever it is.

"Emery? Are you alright?" Ashton, standing back at the mouth of the path. I take a deep breath, closing my eyes.

"No," I sigh, opening my eyes. Ashton's eyebrows were wrinkled. "We did this!" I half-yell, gesturing behind me. "And now we're just going to forget today even happened!?"

Ashton pushes his hands in his pockets. "Do you want me to take you home?"

I want to look behind me again, but I take one step forward, then another. I'll just forget this. Luke's right, it's better if we try to forget. I let Ashton take me home, and when school starts the next Monday, I don't say anything to him. I don't say anything to any of them.

First things first I'm the realest

Hi, I'm Margaret... this is my first fic on Wattpad, so yeah. Sorry this is such a sucky short prologue, but I had to get that over with. This will be old from different perspectives and in flashbacks (don't worry I'll annouce it) so that's cool. You're supposed to be confused, so just bear with me. The other boys were there tbh, and some other characters, but I didn't want to spam the content with a bunch of dialouge so you just have to wait.

Please tell me what you think! I like peopel telling me their opinions on my writing so that I can improve!!!
