Weeks, months and years all passed with the girl growing and learning. By the age of five she could even do first and some second year transfiguration spells. At the age of nine Harry Potter started at Hogwarts. That was when real trouble started. Every time the trio did something troublesome the girl had planned it. "You are nine. You cannot fight a troll." Her mother berated her and ginger locks bobbed in response. "Sorry mother. It won't happen again." Minerva sighed but left it there. If the twins were planning something Anabella was there either in person or in the background and Minerva knew that. "Cheers." The twins would always utter after their plan worked. A year later and the girl was 10, still just as mischievous and a lot more secretive.
"Please." The young girl begged and begged. "No my dear you will stay with me at all times." A nod was made and the conversation dropped. 'Why can I not just go visit the Weasleys?' Annabella pondered but left it. "I know what you are thinking Bella but, it is for your own good that you remain with me. Besides the twins won't be there to keep you busy." Her mother spoke pointedly.
"Yes mother. I am sorry I spoke back." The girls tone was bland and insincere. "What would you even do?" Her mother quipped and Bella sighed. "Yes mother." She quietly responded. "Stop. Fine you may go." Bella squealed and ran for her bag. "Thank you Mum." She sang as she returned back down the stairs. Before another thought was made the young girl had left to board the train. "One day you will be a student here too." Minerva sighed once the door had closed.
"Oh hello my dear. I haven't seen you in ages. You really have grown." Mrs Weasley spoke kindly to Bella. The woman was large in stature as well as love and affection, that much was clear. In fact Mrs Weasley could even pass as her mum Bella mused but stopped that train of thought. "I am terribly sorry but I don't remember meeting you before Mrs Weasley." She responded politely and quietly. "Oh of course my dear you were only just crawling when I saw you last. Your father brought you here." Her voice was filled with sorrow and sympathy.
"Anyway how is everyone? How is your mother?" Mrs Weasley suddenly perked up and spoke. "Oh she is fine. Everyone is. I mean I still cannot discuss father but mother is as stern and loving as ever." She was polite and formal. "Of course my dear. Now I am glad you came but may I ask, why?" The mother stood head and shoulders above most with her broad smile and warm embrace. "Oh I just wanted to know what it was like to live here. With a mum and dad, and with you. I mean the twins, Fred especially speaks so highly of you and your hugs. Mother isn't as much of a hands on mother as you are." Bella shyly responded and felt immediate regret. "I mean she still loves me and always has but she isn't one for affection with me. I look too much like father. She wouldn't admit it to me but she told Albus when she believed me to be asleep. I'm sorry I must be boring you. I'm only a little girl." Molly just smiled and hugged he sweet girl tightly. Annabella wasn't sure how she felt but inside she was warm so it must have been good.
"Well as long as you call me Molly you will always be welcome here." Bella smiled widely and thanked the generous woman. "So Annabella please do follow me. I am assuming you have eaten but would you like to go for a walk?" Bella nodded and piped up. "Please call me Bella. Mum hasn't called me Annabella in years." Molly nodded and the two headed out. The sun was shining and the air was a comfortable warm. Seven weeks passed like this and the three people who dwelt in that house grew stronger.
It was Bella's last day and whilst they sat in the living room she suddenly piped up. "What was dad like?" Molly looked sad for a moment then looked up. "He was charming and handsome. His white blond hair was quite well known as well as his caring attitude. He was also persistent and boisterous. He proposed to your mother countless times until she accepted." Molly mused and stared out to nothing in particular. "Why did he propose so many times?" Bella asked curiosity dripped and laced in her voice. "Your mother used to love another man. A muggle but the first war brought him and the engagement to an end." Her voice was low and the misery was palpable. A nod was made which caused the curly ginger hair to bounce wildly and seemingly uncontrollably.
