Do your eyes ever try to convince you that you saw something? That the something you saw is a mystery? Trying to make you believe that "this isn't it". That you can have a adventure and be the solution for once instead of a failure? Mine do.

Not a lot of people know that i used to see things, silhouette men. It used to occur at unexpected moments which terrified me at first but after awhile it was normal to me, sometimes i would wait out of boredom till i saw them again.

I wished there was more detail, but i would only get a glance. As if seeing them for too long could be threatening. The silhouettes were outlined with clothing i recognised, they would often be wearing a long cotton coat and a top hat.

Usually they walked past me or watched me from a distance. After years of keeping it all to myself i decided i would speak about it with someone i had grown fond of, Elisa, my school mentor. Elisa told me that it was my past that i hadn't let go of and it was physically trying to get my attention by scaring me. She had no idea how right she was, she probably

meant it differently to how it turned out but nonetheless it was the reason to seeing them, they had found me and they weren't keen on letting me go.
