So much is happening inside of her head
she can't help them,
she can't stop them,
swirling in a fury, evil and angry, hateful, and mean
They are always there, wanting to leap from her tongue
Vowels her swords, and consonants her shields,
Ready to battle, fighting to no end
Cut off her tongue and the war will be won, but if you kill her tongue, you kill her
For it’s her only defense, against this cruel world.
