Zach & Elise's House
I had been running around like a mad woman trying to get everything situated for Kiyah's party. Uptown Art wasn't available, but I was able to find a company, Wet Paint Ink & Art, that was mobile and would bring the party to you.
I covered the dining room table and had a set up for each child. They had personalized aprons, their own paint set, and canvas that they would be able to take home with them.
Everything had a paint theme from the cake that had fondant splotches of paint; Rice Krispies made like paint brushes and a colorful juice-box tower. I knew I went a little overboard, but I wanted to make today a great day for Kiya because I didn't want her to feel like I loved her any less because I didn't show up to her party next week.
She had no idea about this party, but I know when she sees it she's going to freak out. I heard the garage door which let me know that Zach had made it back with the kids. I stood by the door that led from the garage to the kitchen waiting to surprise her.
"Surprise!", I yelled seeing Zakiyah and Zykese walk through the door. She gasped in disbelief.
" Mommy! Is all this for me," Kiyah questioned spinning around with her arms outstretched beaming brighter than the sun.
