Tris P.O.V
I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock beeping over and over.I groan and slam my fist into it.
My brother Caleb barges into my room and says "Up up Tris you don't want to be late on the first day of our new school!"
"Caleb did you forget to knock?I could have been NAKED!"I yell.
"Just get ready Bea."
I get out of bed and go take a five minute shower.When I dry off I go to my closet and choose my clothes.I put on a black tank top and a leather jacket
I choose a pair of black skinny jeans and my combat boots.
I go to the restroom and apply a bit of mascara,eyeliner, and clear lip gloss.
I go downstairs grab an apple and see that there is a note on the counter from my parents:
Dear Caleb and Tris,
Your father and I wish you the best of luck at your new school I had to go on a quick business trip for my new movie.Your father also has a meeting in Ohio to discuss an agreement with you know politics.Love you guys.XO

I leave it there for Caleb to read and grab my keys and hop into my red Ferrari.
When I get to school I park my car and get out looking lost.I bump into a girl I say"Sorry."
"It's okay.You look lost are you new?"
"Yes.Can you please tell me where the office is?"I answer.
She grabs my hand and walks away pulling me with her until we reach a building that in big bold letters reads:Main Office.
I walk in and ask for my schedule the secretary gives it to me.
When I come out of the office the girl is still waiting for me.
"I was so rude I'm Christina."
"Tris Prior."
"Can you hand me your schedule?"She asks.I hand it to her.
She squeals."You have all your classes with me.I was wondering do you want to be my friend?"
"No I don't want to be your friend.I want to he your best friend."I answer.
She smiles.
"You have to meet the gang come on."She grabs my hand and pulls me with her.
Then I look at my necklace and remember something.
Flashback
"Toby where are you taking me?"I ask.
"To our favorite spot come on Bea."He replies.
We arrive at the lake he says"Tris I need you to promise me something."
"Anything Toby."
"I need you to promise me three years from now when we're in ninth grade if we still feel the same way for each other that you will be mine."He says.
"Yes of course Toby.But why are you telling me this we already went over this?"I reply.
He looks at his shoes and answers"Marcus he's taking me away to another part of Chicago."
I feel tears start to roll down my cheeks he's been my best friends ever since I can remember."Toby please don't leave me!"I plead.
"Bea I don't want to but you know I have to try to get on his good side.You know I love you right."He says.
"Yes because I love you too Toby."
He brings his thumbs to my cheek and rubs my tears away.He pulls me into a tight embrace and he pulls back and looks into my eyes and I get mesmerized in his stormy blue eyes and he brings his lips to lightly fit with mine we kiss for what seems forever but was the best minute of my life.
"Bea I promise you that in ninth grade we will be together again forever okay?"
"Okay Toby."
"Here this is to remember our promise."he hands me half of a flame in a circle.He places is it around my neck and places his half around his neck."I love it."I say.
"Tobias time to go!"yells Marcus.Even though he is a bit far away his voice reaches us like if he was right beside us.
"I have to go Bea.Remember our promise.I love you."
He pecks my lips and I feel happiness but I don't want him to leave.
"I love you too Toby.I will keep my promise."I reply.
He gets up and runs and yells"I LOVE YOU TRIS PRIOR!''
''I LOVE YOU TOBIAS EATON!!"I scream while I cry.That was the last I ever saw of him.
End of Flashback.
"Tris are you okay?"asks Chris.
"Yeah I was just remembering something."
"Don't cry it's okay."I wipe a tear that just spilled over my cheek.
A group of teens walks over to us.They greet Chris.
"Guys this is Tris."She tells them.
"Hi."I say.
"Hi."replies a guy with..stormy blue eyes.I feel a sudden surge of hope and I look at his neck and there's a chain and a flame on it.
"Toby?"I ask.
"Bea."He replies.I nod.
He picks me up and says"Its the first day of ninth grade do you still love me?"
"More than ever."I say.
"In that's case."He says as he kisses me and I don't hesitate to kiss back.Those lips drive me crazy.
I pull back and see the gang with their jaws on the floor.
"Long story."Toby and I say at the same time.
"We'll leave you two alone.''says Chris.
"Remember our promise?"He asks me.
"Yes."I answer.
"So that means that you are mine now.''He tells me.
"Forever."I say.
"And ever."He answers.That's all we need to say to know that we are now a couple.He intertwines our fingers and the bell rings.
"What class do you have first."He questions.
"Science."I answer.He smiles that means he has that class right now too.
Still holding my hand we start to walk to class.
