of rainy afternoons and hot chocolates with whipped cream on top • mingyu

i decided to continue this mini series

Rainy season started a few weeks ago and you don't know if you'll be happy or not, because: you can sleep all you want because class is always suspended; you can't go out to hang out with your friends because it's freaking raining outside.

Speaking of you cannot go outside to hang out with your friends because it's raining and as the only girl in the group, your friends are here at your house because it's been a long time since you all hang out as a complete group.

"I'm making some hot chocolate, who wants some?" Mingyu announced as he got up from the sofa. Some of them suggested raised their hands, including you and some suggested some coffee and Mingyu nodded as he called Wonwoo to help him.

You're all watching a movie and it's like the fourth movie you all watched since you all started watching at like eleven in the morning. And yes, they were there at like ten thirty where you're enjoying your peaceful sleep but then they decided to crash in because they said they "miss" you and it's been a few months since you all hang out as a whole group.

As everyone was busy watching the movie, you quietly got up from the sofa and went to the kitchen where the smell of hot choco and coffee is all over the air.

"Hm, smells so good," you said as you get more closer to the two who were preparing the coffee and hot choco for everyone. "You two can now manage a café," you said and the two smiled. You quietly made your way at one of the stool and watch the two prepare the whole thing.

When the two were done, Mingyu handed you your hot choco before going where the others are. "Thanks," you said to him before he go to bring the hot drinks to the others.

You took a sip and you couldn't help but to smile. Mingyu really makes some great hot choco and not just by making hot chocolates and coffee, he is also a great cook that's why when you're staying at his house, the other's or your's, he's the one always in charge of cooking.

"Do you like it?" Mingyu said as he was sitting at one of the stool next to you. You nodded and he smiled.

"I really missed your hot choco, Gyu." You said and you take another sip. After taking a sip, Gyu laughed at you that made you look at him with confusion. "What?"

"You got some whipped cream on your nose," he said and take off the whipped cream that accidentally made it's way on the tip of your nose. "You're so messy whenever you eat or drink," he said.

"I still look cute tho," you said, pouting and take another sip until you finish the whole thing because it just taste so good.

"I know," he said, getting off the stool to backhug you. "I missed you," he said, pouting.

"I missed you too, Gyu," you said as you hold his hands that was at your waist. "Yah. You didn't think I wouldn't notice how you lose some weight?" With what you said, Mingyu unlaced his hand that was around your waist and scratched his nape.

"I-I haven't been eating that well these past few days because of the projects," he said and you really can see that he was obviously tired he was from the amount of schoolwork he have.

"Want me to help you?" You offered but he quickly refused and said that he's fine. "Why?" You whined.

"I think we won't be able to finish a single thing if you're going to help me," he said while looking away at you. "Because you know—"

Before he could continue what he was saying, you quickly stopped him by slapping his arm. "Yah! Kim Mingyu!" You quickly said and he laughed.

Hugging you, he said, "I'm just joking, Y/N!" and you hugged him back. "Wanna help me with my calculus later?"

You quickly groaned with hearing the word calculus and he laughed. "Not math-related please, Gyu." You said as you groaned. "But fine, since I love you."

"I love you too!" He said and gave a peck on the cheek. "Let's go on a date on saturday?" He asked and you quickly nodded.

"YAH! GET BOTH OF YOUR ASS IN HERE WE'RE GOING TO WATCH TRAIN TO BUSAN!"

"NO PDA-ING PLEASE! GIVE RESPECT TO THE SINGLE IN HERE!"

"GET A ROOM, GUYS!"

"BITTERNESS IS IN THE AIR!"
