Y/N's P.O.V

"Do we really have to do this?" My best friend Stuart asks. I turn round to face him. "Yes come on Stu live a little." I say going back to pack my sports bag. Today me and Stuart are going to the swimming pool, I really love swimming it just relaxes me and I go there often. The only difference is today I'm bringing Stuart.

"Why can't we have a movie marathon like we do every weekend?" Stuart asks lying down in the bed next to me.

"No you said that we can do what I want this time and I want to go swimming." I say sending him a cheeky grin.

"Fine I can't say no to you." He says sending me a smile that could melt any heart. I have to admit over the last few years I have developed feelings for the sarcastic, beanie wearing boy but it's not my fault. How can you look into those beautiful hazel eyes and not fall in love? But he obviously doesn't share the same feelings.

Once I've packed my bag we both head out to the car. We drive for a few minutes in silence , not an awkward one though. After a while I decide to break the silence.

"Is there any reason you don't want to go swimming Stuart?" I ask turning to face him. I see him tense up a bit and his hands tighten on the stirring wheel. I put my hand on his arm and he immediately relaxed.

"Alright, so I'm not the most athletic person."

"What I had no idea." I say sarcastically

"Yeah well I never really learned how to swim." He mumbles.

"Oh Stuart I'm so sorry why didn't you tell me I wouldn't have brought you here if I knew." I say starting to regret my decision for our weekend plans.

"No! I mean no. You didn't know and plus I can't think of a better person to teach me than you." He says looking at my with that heart-melting smile.

"Oh, ok then l-let's go." I stutter quickly turning away before he sees me blushing at his words.

Time skip
When we get to the sports centre we go straight to the swimming pools. Thankfully no one was there so we could be just the two of us. We split off to go change. I brought my red bikini with me that showed some cleavage but not enough to look slutty. After I got changed I make my way to the swimming pool. I see a figure standing right next to the pool and walk up to them.

"Hey Stu you ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever-" he stops when he sees me. He looks me up and down before gulping and finishing his sentence. "-b-be."

"Great now come on let's get started."

He takes of his glasses but stays were he is. I look over to see a nervous expression on his face. I extend my arm out to him. "We'll do it together." I say offering a smile. He gulps again and takes my hand.

After 40 minuets of 'swimming' Stuart is finally ready to swim the base of the pool. "Are you sure your ready Stu?"

"Y-yeah I got this." He says still looking a bit off about it.

"Hey" I say looking him in the eyes. "You've got this, you hear me?" He nods and I swim to the end of the section we're in.

Once I get there I wave signalling for Stuart to start swimming. That's when he starts to swim. Oh my god he's doing it, he's really doing it! I shout words of encouragement until he finally reaches me. I help his stand up and put the glasses back on his face.

"You did it! I'm so proud of you Stuart!" I say engulfing him in a hug. He laughs placing his hands on my waist. We finally pull apart when Stuart starts talking.

"Well I couldn't have done it if it wasn't for you." He says smiling down at me. It's only now that we realise how close we both are. He looks at me and then my lips. That's when he starts to slowly lean in. My head is racing, he's leaning in, he wants to kiss me. I close the space between us and kiss him. It's like explosions going off in my mind. Stuart deepens the kiss by pulling my waist closer to his and I wrap my arms around his neck.

After a couple more seconds we both pull away for air. I rest my head onto his as we both breathe heavily. Stuart starts to smile and so do I. "I guess coming here was a good plan after all Y/N."

"W-we'll yeah. I mean you learned how to swim."

"Yeah but that also gave me the courage to do what we just did. I've been wanting to ask you something for the longest time but could never find the perfect moment but I guess this is a pretty good moment. So Y/N would y-you maybe want to go out for dinner with me? As in a date?" He asks with a hopeful look in his eye.

I can't even believe what is happening in front of me. I can't even comprehend any words so instead I just lean in and join our lips again. Thank god for this swimming lesson.
