Y/N's P.O.V "Y/N hurry up!" I hear my best friend Dylan shout. This summer Dylan doesn't have any auditions or movies to film so we can spend the whole time together. We're going to my parents house ,who live in a different state so we're gonna make a road trip out of it. This summer is going to be fun and I'm so glad Dylan and I can spend it together, he's always so busy and I'm so proud of him. The only down side is that we don't get a lot of time together just us but this road trip to my parents house is going to change that.
"I'm coming now!" I yell grabbing the last few things. I go down the hall when I notice the wall I have full of pictures. Most of them are of family and friends. A lot of them are as me and Dylan as kids. I moved with him to La when he got the role of Stiles in teen wolf. He's came so far since then.
"Y/N hurry up or I'm leaving without you!" Dylan yells from the car snapping me out of my melancholy state. I run out the door and see him with his arm hanging out the window. "Get in loser we're going shopping!" He says in his girly voice. I laugh and walk to the other side and get in. "What took you so long I thought summer would be over by the time you got here." "Well then you don't get to know my super cool secret." I say hoping that it will annoy him a bit. "Wait, what secret? Come on tell me'" he whines. "Well it is a secret but you'll find out at the end of the road trip." Dylan groans. I know he has no patience for these types of things.
Time skip We're halfway there in our two day road trip and it's been going amazing so far. We listened to music for most of the journey but we got bored after a while. Dylan then went on to tell me about what's been going on in his life. He told me all about him and Tyler messing about on set and causing trouble as always. He asked me about my life but nothing has really gone on.
"Oh Jason was thinking of proposing to Amy!" I say excitedly. "Oh my god finally! We've all been waiting for this since high school. I mean they've been together what? Almost 10 years now..." Dylan continues to ramble on about my cousins possible engagement and all I could think about is how well he knows me. I mean sure we've been best friends since birth but he always remembers little things I told him years ago. Which is not helping me to get over my long time crush on him. I know so cliche, the girl falls for her best friend but how could you not? I mean have you seen Dylan and imagine what it's like when your so close to him, we live together for gods sake! But I really need to push these thoughts out of my mind.
After another half an hour we both start to get tired and look for close by hotels to stay at. We finally find one and thankfully no one recognised Dylan. The only downside is there is only one bed in the room. "It shouldn't be a problem should it Y/N. We've shared the bed before and all." Dylan says more to himself than me.
I go to get changed in the bathroom while Dylan gets changed in the bedroom. I finish and walk out expecting Dylan to be dressed but he's standing there with just his boxers on. "Oh sorry!" I say quickly turning away. "It's ok Y/N . Besides I've probably walked in on you getting changed a million times now." He laughs.
After the whole boxer incident it was a bit awkward, of course that didn't last when Dylan tells me stories about us as kids. I'm so relaxed I just fall asleep right on the floor. I'm almost asleep when I feel warm arms wrap around me lifting me up to the bed. Dylan goes to pull away built he's too warm and comfy to let go of. So I just hold on. He admits defeat and lays down close next to me. I'm pressed against Dylan's chest and hear his heartbeat quicken when I snuggle closer. Then I'm lulled to sleep by the sound of Dylan's heartbeat.
