Y/n's P.O.V
My life is pretty amazing, I know most people say that when it really isn't but it's true. I have my dream job at Google, I work with my best friends and there is a Halloween Masquerade ball tomorrow night. So yeah I would say at the minute, my life is great. My specialised skills that got me the internship at Google is my expert hacking skills. I have always been an outcast and someone who doesn't really like other people, in all honesty I would much rather be reading or on my phone, that all changed when I started the internship here. I was last to be picked along with two older guys, a nervous boy who kept picking his eyebrows, a horny girl and a cute guy who didn't look away from his phone. Along with our over excitable team leader to help us we won and got jobs at Google.

"Good morning Y/n!" Billy smiles walking into our shared office area. "Good morning Billy! Let me guess Nick is still making googly eyes with Dana." "Yeah." He laughs. "Well it's nice he has someone. I mean I can't really criticise him, he's got further than I ever have." Billy stops what he's doing to stare at me. "What?! No way you haven't had a boyfriend!" I laugh at the expression on his face. Just then the rest of the gang walk in. "What happened to him?" Lyle asks waving his hand in front of Billy's face. "Oh it's nothing. You know how Billy is." I let out a nervous chuckle. "Oh I'm not so sure about that Y/n." Nick says turning a chair around and sitting on it. "We're gonna get to the bottom of this."

After a 2 minutes I finally tell them what put Billy is such a state. "What! No way that's true." Neha says. "Yeah I think she's lying." Yo- Yo adds. "No it's true!" I laugh. "Why are you all so surprised?"the gang just laughs. No ones paying  attention to me but I feel someone's eyes on me. I turn to see Stuart but he's looking at his phone not me. He looks up and our eyes meet. I smile and he shows me a rare smile. Only a small one but from him that's enough. "Well let's stop discussing my love life, or lack of and get back to work."

When we finish for lunch we decide to eat outside. Even in October it's not blisteringly cold yet, so we just put a jacket on and bare it. I sit between Neha and Stuart. Nick is sitting with Dana like he does every Tuesday. As for the others they're sat on the other side of the bench. I being stupid forgot my coat today. I start to shiver a bit as the wind picks up. Everyone is too into their conversation on cosplay to notice me. I continue to eat my lunch and suffer in silence until I feel arms wrap around me. Stuart does this before  taking his jacket off to drape over me. I let out a sigh of relief at the warmth but feel guilty that he doesn't have a jacket now. "Stuart you take this back. I'm fine." I try to give it back to him but he refuses. "No you look cold and your only wearing a thin shirt, I'm wearing a shirt and jumper. I'll be fine." I smile at him and squeeze his hand before turning back towards the group. I see him get a bit flustered through the corner of my eye which made me regret touching his hand. I know how Stuart feels about physical contact like hugs. But what's done is done.

"So have you all got dates for the Halloween Masquerade Ball?" Neha asks excitedly. "Oh yeah I forgot about that." Billy says with a mouth full of food. "Well we all know Lyle is going with his moon and stars." I tease. Lyle blushes, smiling down at his food. I may tease him a lot but it's nice that he has someone, plus him and Marielena are the cutest couple I know. "Well I don't have anyone to go with. But I'm just there for the party not for a date." Yo-yo explains but I can see his eyes move to Neha. I know for a fact that Neha isn't going with anyone, she says she's waiting for someone special to ask her. I'm not blind and neither is the rest of the group. We all see the way they look at each other. It's adorable but they need to hurry up and date already, I should talk to Yo-Yo later, you never know it could be the start of a beautiful relationship.
