Dear Diary,
He came over today and helped me with my homework. He hasn't even been here that long and he's already doing better in class than I am.How does he do it?
"What do you mean that equals 2? I got a decimal!" I threw my head down on the desk in frustration, and he chuckled softly in the seat next to me. We were in my room, all alone. Alone! Mom was still at work, and who knows where Andy is. Even Isaac's mom isn't home; she's out shopping. Alone.
Isaac looked over my work, moving my blonde hair off of the pages. "Honey, maybe it's because the it's 5 minus 3, not 5 divided by 3." I picked my head up, only to drop it back down in embarrassment. I could practically feel Isaac rolling his eyes and smiling.
Tossing the homework aside, Isaac pulled out my favorite guitar and started playing the familiar tune he played when I was stressed.
I picked up my head and grinned at him, which he gladly returned. But I did the unexpected. I moved onto the bed next to him, and held his hands so he would stop playing. He looked at me with confusion in his eyes, but I kissed the confusion away.
And he kissed me back.
Love, Gwen
