Dear Diary,
After a small arguement, Andy finally put his stuff in his pants and left in his beat up red truck. I managed to get Mom upstairs to change her clothes. She picked out a gorgeous blue dress, with a pair of white heels. She smiled at me and pulled me into a hug.
"What would I do without you?" She whispered into my hair, and I hugged her tighter.
"Burn the pancakes." I whispered back, and she stepped back and laughed, wiping away a small tear.
By the time we had left the house, I was wearing an orange blouse with white shorts, a pair of orange sandals on my feet. I carried my mother's famous sugar cookies as we approached the door. I was barely up the familiar steps when I could hear Amy's voice.
"My goodness gracious honey get your fingers out of the food! You can eat in just a minute, go sit down!"
I'm confused, Amy lives alone.
Love, Gwen
