Why Do I Write?

Writing is a process of thoughts that you write on paper or type on any media. Trying to bring a world or word to life, using descriptions and visual taste that makes you believe that you are there. Why do I write? Is it for the purpose to show my world's words or to show that I might be useful with my words? I feel as though the reason I write is for the reason I live; for a purpose. I want my words to bring feelings that make you surprised that they overwhelme you. I wanted my words to to bring hope; maybe a meaning to someone.  That is why I begun to write, I wanted a lesson to be taught through my writing. To use a power that would be so visual and so breathtaking that the book would have been extraordinary. I write because I do truly enjoy writing, it calms you and makes your thoughts clear. I want my writing to mean something to someone, but is it best to mean something to me? As ridiculous as that question may be it truly is one you should ask yourself, is your writing for you or someone else? I would like to believe it is for myself but I can't fool anyone; I wish deeply for someone to recognize my work, my talent and my words. They are stuck in my body, my mind and my soul but I can't let them go. I am afraid that others will twist them and I will cry in terrible, heartbreaking agony at the misunderstanding and the thought that my words will not be loved. For I love my words not because they are mine but for the fact that I can share them. So, I suppose that is why I write. To share my thoughts and my love within them as I bring a new world to light.
