Bullshit

What Luther was doing was total bullshit, and he knew it at time he stepped out of that goddamn pool.  Walking through places he didn't even know was practically suicide as well, especially being an Android.  Each time the sole of his damp shoe impacted with the snow was a death sentence, which is why he didn't drag his feet and made sure the falling snow was covering up his tracks.

Why he was running away was oblivious to his mind, he just knew he couldn't be near them again, Kara especially.  After what he's done and how she ran away made him feel as if he was shut down, broken even.

All the thoughts swirling in his mind made him sick, and the cold air piercing his plastic skin only caused him to stumble. He had to keep a hand on the passing buildings that he walked by for balance, until he froze in his stance.

At the edge of the street, he spotted a bar, that appeared to be open. The sight was about to be forgotten until he felt the snow storm beginning to brew. He shivered and dug his fingernails into his palm, knowing if he didn't get warmth, he would shut down.

When he entered the bar, it was completely empty, with the lingering sounds of dull music laced in the atmosphere. He stomped his feet at the door, shaking off the snow until he was interrupted by a voice,

"I'm gonna guess you're not from here sweetheart."

When his gaze shifted up, his eyes were met with a woman who stood behind the bar, an empty glass in hand with a cloth in the other. Her hair was black, wavy, and slug over an eye, giving her a more careless appearance that sent a cold finger up his spine. Her tan skin vibrated in the soft glow of neon lights as he approached her, as fake smile plastered over his lips.

"How could you tell miss?" Luther said.

"Well, one things for sure, I've never seen you around before. I know everyone in this town. And, no one comes into a bar and stomps their feet at the door at such a late time." She chuckled, "So, I'm going to assume you want something to drink."

He was rendered speechless for a moment before bursting out into laughter, "How do you know so much about me from first glance? Only androids can do that."

The word androids seemed to make her cringe, causing her to drop her cloth. "Well, I've worked here since I was twelve. So you get good at some things with all that time on your hands." She said while picking up the fabric she dropped, "And I don't remember the last time I slept, so maybe it has something to do with that."

Luther chuckled, but couldn't help to pick up her slight jerk in movement when he mentioned his kind.  He was about to bring it up, but bit his tongue at the thought of what reaction he might receive, "What's your name miss?" He asked, knowing that he could have easily scanned her, but wanted to take a more 'Human like' approach.

"My name is Maria.  Maria Anderson.  What's yours?"

"Luther Hansen." He replied, making up a last name.

"Luther Hansen, huh?  I like that name, where you from?"

"I'm from America.  I moved here because of the android epidemic."

Maria took a few seconds of silence before answering, seeming to be pondering or remembering something. "Yeah....The androids...."

Luther took in this odd behavior and finally settled on saying something about it as she handed him a shot of whisky, which he easily pushed away. "Do you have something against androids?"

Maria scoffed and shook her head, "No....I don't have anything against them. It's just—" She was cut off by her phone ringing, swiftly taking it out and checking who it was, "Excuse me, I have to take this." She said, before walking away into a back room, leaving Luther alone.

He glanced at the glass of whisky for a moment to pass the time, finally grabbing it and swirling the liquid around. He bit his lip, inhaling the sharp sent that stung his nostrils and made him squirm. He was about to dump it, but shrugged and downed the drink. At first, he felt the whisky travel down his throat innocently, until the pain finally settled in. He gripped onto to counter and began to gag, scraping his tongue onto his teeth to remove the rancid taste.

"Wow, that was probably the most sadist thing I ever had to see."

Luther looked up to see Maria with a coat in her hands, as if she were ready to go somewhere.  "I'm gonna guess that was your first time you had alcohol."

Before Luther could answer, she was off walking towards the front door, opening it and motioning for him to follow, "Well, come on.  You're coming with me, I gotta shut this place down."

"What are you talking about?"

"I'll tell you the story when we get in my car, but for short, me and my friends need a heavy lifter."

He took a moment before obliging to her words, getting up and following her out of the bar.  She led him to the back of the building to where a rusted car sat, which to he assumed,
was hers.  Before he could ask, she was already inside it and starting it up, flashing the bright lights into his eyes and making him clench.

"Well, come on!  We don't have all day!" She shouted from the drivers seat, causing him to run over and sit beside her.

It didn't take long before they were on the road, which was dark and bare of people.  He starred out at the view for a moment before turning to her, biting his lip at the thought of what was going on.

Maria noticed his gaze, and chuckled at it, "No, I am not bringing you to my house and giving you a blowjob." She said, "I'm bringing you somewhere secret, so you can't tell anyone about this."

"Why are you bringing me along?" He asked.

"Like I said, I need a heavy lifter and you look perfect for the job."

Luther reprocessed her words carefully, "What am I going to be doing?"

"Well, if you ask that question you need the whole story." She joked, before turning serious, "I have these two friends, one named Anna and the other named David. We all hate androids, fucking despise the little pieces of plastic. So, we find them, and capture them. We tear them apart and use their gears to build ourselves cars and weapons. It's quite fun, we do it a lot. Like you said, there was an Android epidemic down in America. Well, we were the first to be there, destroying them left and right along side with the police. God, that was really fun. You should come with us one day, you'll enjoy it."

Luther felt bile line his throat, as his vision began to falter. He leaned back onto he chair to understand what she just said, "So....what happed? Did you....did you capture an Android."

Maria nodded, "Yeah, my friends did. Its name's Kara."
