"G'morning, Harry!"

"Morning, 'Mione."

Harry walked down from the dormitory; his raven hair was dripping from his morning shower and his clothes were wrinkled from being tossed onto the floor.

"Sleep well?" Hermione asked cheerily.

"Somewhat, and what about—"

"Morning, Hermione!"

Harry watched Ginny beat him down the stairs from across the common room and skip her way next to Hermione. Her hair was in its usual flat manner while a strand sat in front of her smiling face.

"Someone's happy," Harry joked as he made his way to the girls. He could see Ginny's face redden but thought nothing of it; she was a ginger, he's probably getting a better view of her being sunburnt.

"Well-I mean-uh," Ginny stuttered.

Harry laughed in response while Hermione smiled at them. Ginny's face only continued to grow redder as Harry laughed away.

"I best be off to breakfast," Ginny said, excusing herself before she rushed out of the common room.

"Did I say something?"

"Harry, you imbecile," Hermione said, rolling her eyes as she smiled. "You really are clueless, aren't you?"

"Apparently so," Harry joked as he smiled at Hermione's pure laugh.

'I'm so lucky to have her,'  he thought. 'She's like the sister I never had.'

"Morning, Ron!" Hermione exclaimed a bit more excited than before. Harry nudged her and raised his eyebrows while she shoved him off, clearly embarrassed.

Harry knew about her little crush on Ron since the first year. It was quite obvious, really; every time he spoke, her eyes would always brighten a bit. She hadn't admitted it until around the third quarter of the second year, but honestly, it shouldn't have counted since she accidentally blurted it out to Harry.

Ron murmured absently as he yawned and rubbed his eyes. His hair was sloppy and tangled and dark circles took away the sparkle from his tired eyes.

"This is the bloke you're in love with??" Harry whispered to Hermione. She busted out laughing and shoved him away.

"Harry!" She said amusingly and pleadingly.

"Harry!" He mocked in a high pitched voice. "Let's get some breakfast, you pricks!"

"Last one there's a mountain troll!" Ron shouted while bolting to the exit with sudden awakening and life; he disappeared from the common room with Harry right on his tail.

"That's not fair!" Hermione laughed before chasing after them.

The Golden Trio went laughing down the halls as they raced past the few other students. Their robes flew behind them and their hair was flowing in the wind.

"Bloody hell," Ron said as Hermione and Harry blasted past him. He sped up in multiple attempts to catch up to them only to fall behind from the laughing duo ahead.
