(Damn.. I'm almost loosing interest and ideas for this book. I'll do my best to come up with chapters and plot, however I fear this one isn't going to go on for far too long)

Sam's P.O.V

He's been looking around his personal library for what seemed like an eternity. I have no idea what he was looking for, but I guessed it had big meaning to what our goal is. To get those spirits out and return to where they belong.

"Colby-"
"Wait" He shouts, from all the way up on a ladder. Looking through books for this unknown and mysterious book. I sighed and sat down on the couch in the middle of the huge room. Sunlight hitting me since I was directly underneath a round window.

"Got it!!" Colby suddenly shouts. I was jolted back up, startled at his shout because it echoed in the room. He slides down the ladder, holding a blood red book underneath his arm. I stood up and walked over to him. He had the book open as he approached me as well. Once we met somewhere in the middle, he points to a certain spot on the page he was in.

"Right here. It's a clue on how to do this easier" Colby spoke. I glanced at whatever he was pointing at, and read what it said underneath.

"To rinse away the dead, chant these three words 'unth, thee, uhm' three times. It should make it easier to send them back to the underworld.."

Colby smirks as I look back up at him.
"And who chants the words?" I ask, nervous. Colby chuckled and closed the book.
"The host of course. Who brought them to the overworld?" Colby asked.
I groaned in irritation. Obviously, his question pointed at me.

"Me, of course.."
"Bingo!" Colby says jokingly. I rolled my eyes and followed him out of the library. He was still holding the red book in his left hand.

"It won't hurt you saying the chant.. just know, bringing the spirits back to the underworld takes a lot of effort from your side, since you're still alive. If you were to be dead, they'd be free. Because you're not a host anymore" Colby explains. I nodded.

"So it will be harder now since I'm alive?" I ask simply. Colby nodded.
"Indeed. You'll be exhausted afterwards. However. If you think one of these sessions will be enough.. you're wrong" Colby informed.

"What do you mean? Do we have to do them more than once?" I ask. Colby nodded.
"There are more than one spirit. There's even demons, remember?" Colby reminded. I groaned irritatingly, and sighed heavily.

"So. We start with one session, then the next day- the other one?"
"Oh no no. You have to wait max one day inbetween, or you'll strain yourself. Sure, it'd work. but you could die doing it" Colby informed.

I swallowed harshly and stayed quiet after that. I'd rather do this and come out alive, that's for sure. Colby puts the big red book down on the table and sat down in front of it. He opens it and starts reading it. I sat down across from him and the book.

"After you chant the words, you need to say the phrase 'I'll let you go now', or the chants won't be effective" Colby reads the continuation. I took in the information and nodded. Since I had done the 3 A.M rituals, I was good at instructions at least. Colby then closes the book and looks up at me.

"Then you also need.." he whispers to himself while watching me. I listened but said nothing. He then remember and goes to grab whatever I needed as well. He hands me an upside down cross. I almost dropped it, knowing how dangerous those are.

"Wh-what do you think you're handing me?"
"An upside down cross?" Colby confusingly asked. I stare up at him.
"Oh yeah, you guys aren't used to them. Let me guess, you think upside down crosses are devilish?" Colby asked. I nodded slowly, now getting confused myself.

"Nope, they're just like a gateway to hell for spirits and demons" he states calmly. I stare at him again, now more intense.

"That's the same thing!" I utter out frustratingly. Colby chuckled amusingly and put his chin onto the backs of his hands, his hands which were intertwined.

"Yeah, okay. Well, just know upside down crosses aren't as dangerous as humans and especially priests make them out to be" Colby stated. I slowly nodded, and hesitatingly picked the upside down cross up. I looked at it - turning it around and checking it out. Despite being an upside down cross, it was really pretty. Not even damaged. It was shiny and reflective.

"Hold this out so the spirit you're calling out to can travel to the underworld as well" Colby says. I nodded, looking up at him. Not gonna lie, I was scared. But I'd sure do it if it meant helping my friends.

"Do we have to go to my house for it?" Sam asked. Colby nodded.
"Unfortunately. Just- tell them it's like an exorcism that must be done in order to get rid of them. It's basically the same" Colby explained. I nodded, getting what he meant. I look back down at the cross.

"So. If you're ready, let's go get the first session done with, hm?" Colby asked. I nodded at him, squeezing the cross in my hand. I'll do this.

We approached the car again, and Colby turned his red car on. Soon enough, we were out on the roads - driving towards the Trap House. I glanced at Colby, watching him focus at the road. For being a less terrifying demon, he is very captivating. I bet you I've said that a million times in my head already. However, it's true. His blue eyes shining brightly, and his brown hair making his features stand out more. His jawline fierce.
I kinda don't regret it that he was my first kiss—
Sam, he's still a demon! Stop it!

"How far was the house again?" Colby suddenly asked, and I quickly looked forward, trying to pretend like I wasn't checking the demon out. But I totally was..

"We're there soon" I spoke. Colby nodded, smiling as he kept driving. I wiped my forehead.
I swear I am the least discrete person alive.

"Here" I inform as the house comes into view. He stops outside so I can go outside and unlock the gate. I push it open so Colby can pull into the parking spots. Out came a distressed looking Corey, who apparently spotted us arriving.

"Sam, thank god you're here" Corey spoke. I nodded, and we share a quick hug.
"With.. the apprentice" Corey said, kinda uncomfortable. I pat his shoulder.
"Don't worry. We're here to do our first exorcism to get the spirits to disappear" I informed. Corey nodded, and I walk towards the door. Colby walking right behind me. Lastly, Corey followed as well. As we entered the house, the atmosphere - which I had almost forgotten - changed immediately. It was way heavier and way harder to breathe in.

"Yep. They're very stressed" Colby mentioned. Corey looked at Colby.
"Really?" Corey asked. Colby nodded.
"They want to leave, but Sam has to let them go. Cause he was the one who summoned them. I read that in a book" Colby played off. Corey nodded, and looked at me. Who held the upside down cross and tried to remember the chant and phrase directly afterwards.

"Why is he holding an upside down cross?" Corey asked. Colby looked at him and smiled assuringly.

"So the spirits can find their way home" Colby mentioned. Corey nodded again and approached me.

"Yo, if this exorcism is dangerous in any way, I hope nothing bad happens to you" Corey admitted. I nodded, thanking him. However, I told him the exorcism wasn't dangerous. Only energy draining.

"Alright.." I whispered. Prepping myself.

I approached the most haunted place in the house, which is my room, and sits down with crossed legs onto my bed. Colby and Corey watching from the open door.

"Unth, thee, uhm... unth, thee, uhm... unth, thee, uhm.." I whisper, exactly three times. I waited for a spirit to reach contact with me - and as soon as it did, I felt how my body grew tired immediately. I guess the spirit is taking energy from me so it can pass through and continue to the underworld. I inhaled sharply, feeling how everything got much harder.

"I'll let you go now.." I finished.
I saw how the spirit in front of me, dived straight into the upside down cross and disappeared. As soon as it did, I dropped the upside down cross and fell forwards.

Everything around me turning black..
