--------------------------------------------------

I had feeling deep down what Mason was, but I wanted him to trust me enough to tell me.

I wanted him to show me.

Mason tried getting me to talk but I was crying so hard I couldn't do it. So he changed back to human-behind a tree for my innocence- put his cloths on, and held me until I was calm enough to talk again. In the silence of the clearing all I can hear is my sniffling and the beat of Mason's heart in my ear.

"Angel come on…talk to me?" He squeezed me closer, pleading me with his eyes to at least say something. "Angel please say something…"

I take a deep breath and tell him the other half of my story.

"My dad was Alpha of the pack in Stillfield making me next in line to take over... but when he was killed by rogues, his beta, Dave Harvey took over. That's why I was bullied and beaten so much back there, not only I was known as the daughter of the pathetic, weak dead alpha, but because my mother is human, no one knew if I inherited my dad's werewolf genes, so I'm unable to change...as far as we know. He tried to tell my everything there was about werewolves but he...didn't have a chance." I've told him before about some of the things the kids used to do to me, but he didn't know the whole extent of it.

"God Angel...I want to kill those other kids for hurting you..."I can feel him shaking violently and turn to look at him with wide eyes, putting both of my hands on the sides of his face. He does this every so often when he thinks about the kids who used to hurt me. He gets so angry he starts to change but luckily I've been there every time to calm him down. We don't need him changing and going off in a rage.

"Shh, Mason you need to calm down okay? They aren't ever going to see me again anyway so it's fine, they can't hurt me as long as I've got you." I give him a soft smile and feel him calm down. I can still see the sorrow in his eyes, but he hugs me close again, so tight it's like he wants to hide me away from all the evil in the world.

"You said he told you mostly everything right?" Mason pulls back and shifts us so we're sitting on the grass and I'm leaning my back on his chest while he intertwines our fingers. "So what don't you know yet?"

"Well, he told me all about how you can change whenever you want but also unwillingly when you get angry enough. I know about the order of the pack and how the line up goes as well as the process and the rules and such. If you bite a human and mix your blood with theirs then the next full moon they'll change but only if it was your intentions to make them a wolf. The last chance for you to change is the week of your 18th birthday either the day of or the day before, or else you didn't inherit the bloodline. He covered everything except ... the part about mates." I feel Mason stiffen behind me, obviously wishing I knew about mates.

"All I know is that every wolf has their fated someone they're meant to be with forever, and that when they die your wolf goes into depression, lost and lonely without their fated ones."

"Well good to know I don't have to explain too much."

"Mason you don't need to tell me.. I can ask my mom. My dad taught her pretty much everything he knew."

Mason squeezes my fingers. "No. I want to tell you it's just that, well, it might a little weird."

"What do you mean?"

"You're …you're well I mean I think you are- and I want you to be and I'm pretty sure…."

"Mason you okay?..." He's never sounded this nervous before, normally I'm the one to stutter and blush and shy away.
