They all arrived back in Cairo and Lucy was in her room to get changed. Once she changed, Rick stormed into her room and going towards her draws to grab her clothes.
"I thought you said you didn't believe in that fairy tales and hokum stuff... Shoo!" Rick shouted at Lucy then to the cat as he opens the suitcase and dumped her clothes in.
"Well having an encounter with a 3,000-year-old walking, talking corpse, does tend to convert one," Lucy said as she put the cat down, she grabbed what he dumped into her suitcase and throwing them back into the draw.
"Forget it! We're out the door and we're down the hall and we're gone!" Rick said as he grabbed more of her clothes and again, dumping them in her suitcase.
"Oh no we are not!" Lucy said as she did the same thing as she did seconds ago.
"Oh yes we are," Rick said as he watched her walk around the room in anger as she put her clothes away.
"Oh no we are not, we woke him up and we are going to stop him," she said as she walked back to him to see Rick putting her books in the suitcase.
"'We'? What 'we'? 'We' didn't read that book. I told you not to play around with that thing. Didn't I tell you not to play around with that thing?" Rick shouted as he grabbed more books.
"Fine then. Me, me, me, me, I, I, I, I, I'm the reason he woke up so I intend to stop him," Lucy said as she grabbed her books out of the suitcase and dumping them on her desk.
"Oh yeah, how? You heard the man, no mortal weapons can kill this guy," Rick said as he grabbed the typewriter.
"Then we will just have to find some immortal ones," Lucy said as she grabbed the typewriter out of his hands.
"There goes that 'we' again," Rick said as he put his hands down on the edge of the suitcase.
"Look, listen to me, we have to do something!" Lucy said as she closed the suitcase down on his fingers as he cried out in pain.
"Once this creature is been reborn his curse is going to spread until the whole of Earth has destroyed," Lucy shouted as she walked behind Rick before he turned around.
"Yeah and is that my problem?" Rick shouted at her as she walked away from him.
"Well it is everybody's problem," Lucy said as she walked away from Rick as he was walking behind her.
"Lucinda, I appreciate you and your siblings saving my life and all but when I signed on, I agreed to take you out there and to bring you back and I have done that! End of job. End of story. Contract terminated!" Rick said with frustration and anger.
"Is that all I am to you a contract," she said back to him softly but with a hint of frustration.
"Look, you can either tag along with me or you can stay here... and try to save the world! What's it going to be?" Rick demanded as she waved his hands around.
"I'm staying," she said calmly.
"Fine!" Rick said as he turned away from her.
"Fine!" Lucy said as she watched him walk towards the door.
"Fine," Rick said softly as she slammed the door shut. As he left she let out a sigh of frustration and fell onto her bed before she saw Evy walk into her room.
"Did you hear?" Lucy said as she sat up from her bed.
"Yeah. You two argue like an old married couple!" Evy said with a giggle while Lucy just rolled her eyes.
