You walked into Derek's room, the lights turned out. You saw Derek, fast asleep on his bed. You made sure not to make too much noise as you scoped out the room. It was extremely similar to yours, so much that the rooms are probably identical.

You heard Loki take a step forward into Derek's room, and you quickly turned around. You looked and shook your head at him. He held up his hands and backed off, nodding.

By the looks of Derek's room, he was being treated well. You were hoping he was going to be awake, so you could talk to him and tell him everything would be alright. You walked up to his bed. You pulled the covers up to his chin and kissed him on the forehead.

"I'll come and get you. You'll see," you say, and you walk away. You felt a tear run down your cheek, but you didn't stop it. Without looking at Loki you close the door.

"Not what you were hoping for?" he asked, still whispering. He almost seemed... concerned.

"Don't see how it's any of your business." You could feel him backing off. You sighed. "Yeah, not exactly. I mean... What if-?" You let more tears fall down your cheeks. You didn't look up at Loki, afraid he would make fun of you.

You stopped breathing for a sec as you felt Loki touch your arm. He reached around and...

Hugged you. You think he's trying to comfort you. You continued breathing and accepted the hug. You could feel his awkwardness in between you two, probably the inexperience of hugging someone.

"I'm sure... it'll, umm-" he stuttered. You chuckle, letting out of the hug. "I'm sure it'll be alright."

"I was just hoping that he wasn't going to be okay. Of course I didn't want him hurt. I just thought he wouldn't be enjoying it, just like me." You sigh. "But honestly, this is probably the coolest thing to him."

Loki tried to talk, but all he managed was an 'um, uh' and he closed his mouth. He looked at you in a way that made no words better. You could tell he wanted to comfort you, but didn't know how.

"Thanks for bringing me," you say as you begin to walk down the hallway towards your room.

"Your welcome. You know, my offer still stands. I would like to help you strengthen your powers." Didn't sound like a smart move on your part. But you do kind of owe him.

"Fine," you say turning around. "At... midnight, I'll come to your room, and we can practice powers. But," you held up your pointer finger in front of his face, "if you mess with me, my powers, or do anything to piss me off, I go straight to Tony and say you were controlling me with your... your mind powers, or whatever." You exhaled. "Do we have a deal?" You held out your hand.

He looked from your hand back to you, and a slight smirk.

"Pleasure to be doing business with you." He shook your hand, the first action that caused a catastrophic chain of events.

( Time skip)

Your door opened and you closed the book you were reading. In walked Steve and Tony, and also a dark-red headed woman. She was wearing a red jacket over a black dress that went down to her knees. She also wore boots with heels high enough that she was taller than Tony.

"Hello, (y/n)," said Steve. "I would like to finally introduce you to Wanda, our other telekinetic."

"Hello," said Wanda, and you notice her Russian accent. She reaches her hand out to shake yours. You accept the greeting and let out a weak smile.

"Nice to meet you," you say, getting up and off your bed.

"Likewise." Wanda cleared her throat, as if signaling Steve.
