You wake up to see Loki staring at you.

You chuckle. "You know, most people would call that leering. Did you sleep at all?"

"If you count the one hour I fell asleep, then yes, I believe I did." He chuckled. "Don't worry about it. Gods don't need as much sleep as you mortals."

"You know, technically you're not a God, you're an alien, and you're not immortal, you just have a really increased life span." You made him frown, and you giggle.

"You seem to know a lot about Asgardians for a human," Loki said. "How do you know this?"

"I do my research. What? Norse gods invade Earth and you expect me to not investigate?" He laughed, sitting up.

"I guess that's true," he said. He rolled over so that he was on top of you. He placed his knee between your legs and leaned closer. You blushed.

You held a finger to his lips. "We're not doing this right now." He backed off, smirking.

"As you wish," he said. You giggle and sit up. You're still in your clothes, so you walk into the bathroom to brush your hair. You pick up the brush and begin to pull it through your messy hair. Loki comes up next to you, and began to brush his teeth. A thought came to your mind.

"How come you haven't cut your hair?" Loki had a confused look on his face.

"Whadda mean?" he said, his mouth still full of toothpaste. He spit.

"I mean, most guys I know don't have hair that long. They like to keep it short; keeps them cool." Loki thought for a minute.

"Well, in my culture, having short hair is a sign of servitude or slavery." He began brushing his black hair.

"Well, that explains a lot," you mumble.

"Like what?"

"Well, the fact that Thor literally is the male Repunzel." Loki's face twisted into puzzlement. You put down your brush.

"You don't know who Repunzel is? The princess?"

"You have princesses on Midgard?" He smirked. You rolled your eyes, making him laugh.

"Repunzel is a fairytale princess. But yeah, we do have princesses here. But not in Manhattan for sure," you added, laughing.

"You sure?" He moved closer to you, grinning. You blush, giggling. You push against his chest.

"Smart-ass." He laughs and walks into his room. You bite your lip and follow.

Your eyes widen, but you can't stop him before his shirt is fully off.

"LOKI!" You cover your eyes. "At least warn me!"

He laughs. "I didn't know it was a big deal," he says teasingly. You scowl at him, removing your hand. You can't help but glance down at his six pack, his smooth chest... You look away, biting your lip again.

"Like what you see?" You laugh, blushing.

"Wow! You're ego can be bigger! And here I thought it wasn't possible." Loki laughs and pulls on a fresh t-shirt. It was a black button-up, and dayum did he look hot in it.

"So, how am I going to get back to my room without anyone noticing that I slept in here?" I asked. Loki looked up in amusement.

"Well you're eager to leave," he said. "Got something to do?"

I blushed. "It's not that I want to leave- uh, I mean I need to get to my room in case someone comes in to talk, or something... I need to feed Duke!" You blurted out, mentally scolding yourself. Your cheeks grew hot and you looked down at your feet.

"No problem," Loki said, walking towards you. He lifted his hand up.

"Do you trust me?" You freeze. Do you trust the God of Mischief? You slowly put your hand in his. Suddenly, he pulls you to his chest. You stop breathing for a second, but then you relax against him. He smiles.

"I'm going to teleport us, so hold on tight." You wrap your arms around his waist, bringing him closer and closing the space between you. He takes a deep breath, his chest pushing against you. Suddenly, you feel like your falling. You couldn't feel the floor under you!

You grip tighter onto Loki's shirt, and close your eyes. He places his hand on your hair, smoothing it out. You shudder as his hand runs up and down your back, as an attempt to calm you.

As soon as it left, the floor was back. You opened your eyes to see that you were back in your room. You pull away from Loki, blushing. He smirks, walking towards the door.

"Wait," you grab Loki's attention, making him turn. "Won't people wonder why you're coming from my room?" He grinned.

"(Y/n), I am the God of Mischief and Lies. You don't think I can't get myself out of bad situations? Besides," he pulled you close, touching his forehead against yours, "what are you so afraid of them assuming?" He placed a hand on your waist, sending chills through your body. Before you could reply, his mouth was on yours.

You run your hand through his hair, pushing him towards you. He deepened the kiss further by opening his mouth slightly. You copy his motions, gently touching his mouth with your tongue. He moans, pressing you against the wall. Loki's hand travels up your shirt, gently pressing against your stomach. You let out a gasp as his mouth travels down to your collar bone. He stops for a moment. You lean in to kiss him again, but he backs off. He steps away from you, shaking his head.

"I'm so sorry, I don't know what overtook me," he said, fixing his hair. "It won't happen again, just... I'm terribly sorry." This was a different side of the god, one you hadn't seen before. He almost looked like he was... scared?

"Why?" you ask, walking towards him. "Why are you sorry?" You hold his hand and lean on his chest. You hear a small gasp from the god, but soon his arms wrapped around you, pulling you close.

Suddenly, you hear breaking glass. You look over in the direction of the noise, and you mentally groan. Standing under the door frame was Steve, and the plate he had been holding was shattered across the floor. Eggs and bacon were scattered everywhere, just like the emotions on Steve's face. Well, you mostly just saw anger.

"Get away from him, (Y/n)," Steve said, pushing you aside. Loki's eyes filled with hate as his skin turned from pale to blue. Loki sized up to Steve,  a ball of ice forming in his hand. "How dare you touch her?" Steve asked, punching Loki in the stomach. Your eyes widened as Loki stumbled back. You were panicking, not knowing what to do. But you follow your instincts and jump in front of Loki, just as Steve was going to kick him. You groaned and fell to the ground.

"(Y/n)!" Loki rushed to your side, his blue form fading away to his normal pale skin. He placed a hand on your stomach, and you groaned really loudly. It hurt like fire. Loki glared at Steve with fierce eyes. "Look what you did!"

"Look what I did?!" Steve yelled back. "You should've just left her alone and this wouldn't have happened! You destroy everything in your path." Loki's eyes widened with realization. He slumped, looking down at his hands. You placed your hand on his.

"I-ignore him." You smile, trying to hide the pain. Loki shook his head, standing up.

"I've... I've got to go," he said, slowly backing up towards the door. You see Tony and Natasha standing in the doorway. Loki bumped into Tony on his way out, and you heard his footsteps fade down the hallway.

"No... Loki..." you winced again.

"What the hell is happening?" Tony asked. "Where's he going?" Wanda sat down next to you, placing a comforting hand on yours.

"It's going to be alright, (Y/n). Just breath." You tried taking deep breaths, but you moaned. You felt like something had snapped you in half. Your vision went dark as you drifted into unconsciousness.
