It took a couple of days for you to finally get out of Stark Tower with Wanda to go shopping. You still were practicing your powers with Loki, but now there was less talking and more awkwardness. You wanted to say something, really you did, but you had no clue on what you would say.
Wanda was droning on about the shops you two could check out, and you just kept subconsciously nodded. There was only one thing on your mind, and it sure as hell wasn't clothes. Hopefully there were no clothing involved in what you were thinking of.
"So what do you think?" You realized Wanda was asking your opinion on a shop.
"Um, ugh, sounds good!" You looked out the window in embarrassment.
"Are you feeling all right, (y/n)? You've been spacing out more recently." Wanda asked. She had parked the car on a parking garage. She placed her hand on your shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm perfectly fine! Couldn't be better!" You shoved off Wanda's hand, but you obviously hadn't convinced her.
"Does it have something to do with...?" You stared off into space, hoping to avoid the conversation.
"Does it have something to do with Loki?"
You couldn't help yourself from blushing so you quickly open the car door and step out. You couldn't think about that, not now.
"Oh my gosh. You do, don't you?" she asked, a smile slowly creeping over her face.
"I do what?" You had no clue what she was tittering on about.
"You like him," she emphasized. "You like the God of Mischief!" She squealed.
"Oh, shut up! I do not." You locked the car as you headed towards the exit. You could hear her giggling behind you.
"Stop! I am not attracted to that... that bastard!" Your response stopped her from laughing. You turned around to see that she was failing to contain her laughter. You rolled your eyes.
"Are you mad at me?" Wanda asked, teasing you.
"No, but I'd rather just shop right now." She looked disappointed, making you sigh.
"I will provide all details later," you said begrudgingly. "Let's just shop!" She smiled, obviously looking forward to "later". You just smiled as you entered the streets of New York City.
(Time skip)
You collapsed on your bed, pooped from all the shopping you and Wanda had done. You had filled Wanda in with the details of the incident from a few days ago, but you couldn't answer many of her questions. Really you just wanted to take a nap.
Loki. What were you thinking? Had you forgotten about what he did in Manhattan? He killed thousands of people. You couldn't let that slide just cause you felt... different around him.
Ugh, what is wrong with me? You groaned. I need a shower. You walk into the bathroom.
"Ma'am?"
You groan loudly. "Yes, JARVIS?"
"Loki requests you on the balcony." You freeze.
"Tell him I'm busy."
"Alright." He pauses for a moment. "He says it's urgent." Ugh.
"Tell him I'm taking a shower!" Even though it was a lie, you didn't want to see him right now after the incident.
"He now says that if you don't come to him, he's coming to you."
"Actually?"
"Those were his exact words." Loki really wasn't joking, was he?
