5: Boat Party

Ramos called Eva and she arrived at the cafe dragged us to the boat.

As the salty water scent hit our nose our eyes widened, mouth opened in awe.

"Oh. My. God." Ramos said.

"It's a huge boat ......" i trailed as we entered

"with a freaking pool" Katy added .

"My brother just bought this" Eva said proudly, blushing furiously.

we walked near the pool.

"It's beautiful" i said looking at the pool .

"it's awesome" Ramos said touching the water .

"it's salty" Katy suddenly said we all looked at her weirdly.

oh she tasted the water.

"oh the pool? it's sea water" Eva said.

Sixteen years living in this place and I've never seen a boat like this.

" Hi I'm Juvan, Eva's brother " a blonde haired man around 20 appeared .

we greeted him.

" we are waiting for some people and then we can leave, you guys are allowed to sw-" Eva cuts off by Katy.

Katy quickly took off her shirt and pants
" so what are you waiting for Juvan ? Let's get this party and the boat starteeeedddd" she yelled and jumped to the pool .

the water splashed wetting our clothes.

Juvan smiled and left.

i took my shirt and shorts off and jumped in the pool Ramos and Eva joined us.

Juvan turned the music on, it was some local band, we started dancing in the water.

" aren't you guys forgetting something ? " Eva said grabbing a bottle of sunscreen.

we all jumped out of the pool and rubbed sunscreen on our body. People started arriving in a minute the boat filled with people about 20 people.

Juvan started the boat.

People started drinking i assumed it was alcohol and dancing but i noticed a weird girl sitting in the corner she looked sad.

i approached her and sat next to her but she didn't say anything.

" name's Jamie and you are ? " she seems startled first but then her expression changed she gave me a smile warmer than the sun evening son .

"I'm Delilah" she said.

"so you're at a party." i said.

"I'm at a party." she repeated my words.

"mmmhhh mhhh then what are you doing! let's have fun!" i cheered dragging her to the pool.

"wait let me get my swimsuit" she yelled waved me off and disappeared.

i turned to the pool noticed Katy who was now lost in her own thoughts.

i quickly jumped in the pool and covered her eyes.

she screamed first but i stopped her by covering her mouth with my left hand.
i stood in her back and said
"guess who's this" in a deep voice.

" Harry the jockstrap wearing idiot " she yelled angrily and tackled me all of a sudden .

Everyone's attention is now on us

she pushed me underwater and jumped out of the pool.

"don't play that type of games with me Harrison " she yelled at left.

My head hit the bottom of the pool.
i nearly drowned.
i got out of the pool and catching my breath.

"what's her deal?" Ramos asked standing next to me.

"i don't know" i said shaking my hurting head.

then i noticed something weird the cloud is getting dark there was no rain mentioned in today's forecast and Sparkle Island is now visible to our eyes but another weird thing is the dark clouds covered the island it looks like something out of a horror film .

i started to run to get Katy but i stopped when i found her standing in front of me watching the island .

"where were you" i asked.

"can't a girl go to the toilet? " she asked teasingly.

mhhh bipolar much?

"a big storm is coming, but the weatherman didn't mention it on the radio earlier" i said .

"well what do you know, it's Sparkle island of mystery that's why no one goes there" she said and i nodded.

"hey" a soft voice said.

"oh hi, Katy this is Delilah" i introduced.

"hi" Katy said offering a warm smile .

"if that storm hits us, there's 85% possibility for this ship to sink" Ramos said.

we know he is a genius and his prediction may be right because i still remember when he told our science that their marriage will fail after a month they got a divorce.

And when he told the coach to stop the football game because a big storm is coming but the coach ignored and decided to continue the game we played in the rain that night and one of my teammates got hit by lightning .

"Nah it's not going to hit us turn up the music Juvan" Katy yelled.

we all started dancing throwing our hands up in the air and moving like a zombie.

After over an hour or two the whole place turned dark and the wind started to going wild.

Oh god.
