Vanessa's pov
The next morning i got up and ready so i could take my little 'children" to school. I dragged Elaina out of bed so she can get ready on time.
Jacob must've woken up earlier and took off already because he was nowhere to be found.
"Hurry up." I yelled at Elaina as Ruby, Jamal, and Monse walked inside the house.
"Where's salad boy?" I questioned them as they make their way to the couch. "Oscar took Cesar and Jacob to school."
That explains Jacob's absence.
"Okay im ready." Elaina said walking out her room dressed like the most hoeish bitch ever. She looked like me,
I shook my head and grabbed my car keys. I knew if i told her to change she would argue. Last thing i wanted was to fight this early.
We all piled into my car and drove off to their school.
"Are you guys excited?" I smiled at them. "YESSS!" Jamal yelled sarcastically.
Then once we got there they all got out the car. Cesar and Jacob ended up walking over to them. "Wait!" I jumped out the car dramatically.
"We need a photo." I smiled as they groaned. "Just shut up and smile." I glared at them and immediately they all put on their best fake smile for the photo.
"Okay have fun okay." I said as i hugged each and every one of them. "If anyone picks on you let me know." I smiled. Then i pulled Ruby into a hug and whispered, "Watch out for Elaina. I dont need her pregnant right now." I said which made him laugh.

"So how's your baby mama, Javier?" I asked my manager as he walked into the taqueria.
He sighed as he looked at me. "She kicked me out again."
I raised my brow as i looked over at Miles. "Why is this dude always getting kicked out?" Miles questioned as he served a couple their food.
"I dont know." I laughed as i cleaned the empty tables with a rag.
"Blanco we got a customer." Miles said while taking the rag from my hand and motioning me toward the table.
I grab the note pad and the pen from the counter and walked over to the table. "What can i get you... Oscar?" I smiled a little seeing him sitting by himself.
"Hey." He laughs giving me that adorable smile.
"What are you doing here?" I raised a brow.
"Im hungry and i heard the waitress here is hella fine." He smirked pulling me into the seat next to him.
"Oh so you came here just to see me?" I smirked back then started to laugh.
"Yeah and because Javier has the best tacos in Freeridge." He chuckled making me shake my head.
"Coming right up." I smiled getting up to tell the cook.
"Damn the Santos leader is really tryna get it innnn." Miles smirked as i grabbed a soda for Oscar.
"Shut upp." I laughed smacking his arm playfully before walking over to Oscar.
"Here you go." I set the soda on the table as i sat back down next to him. "Vanessa do you wanna go on a date?" He asked out of nowhere.
"Me?" I asked him confused.
"Nahh im talkin to your friend over there." He said pointing over to Miles who quickly ducked his head down as if we didnt see him.
I laughed a little then looked over at Oscar. "Yes fool im asking you on a date and i never ask girls on dates. So dont make me regret asking,"
"Oh wow Oscar i feel so special. You must really like me." I teased him which made him roll his eyes while pulling me closer to him.
"Well i wanna get to know you better. So quit playin around." He chuckled as Miles set the tacos on the table before walking away.
"When's the date?" I bit my lip nervously as i glanced over at him. I havent been on a date in so long.
"Tomorrow. Be ready at one."
"Okay fool."

"How was the first day of highschool?" I asked while sitting on Elaina's bed. She just groaned in response.
"There are so many girls who dont like me." She complained while looking through her closet.
"Why? Its barely the first day."
"I dont know." She shrugged putting together another hoeish outfit for tomorrow.
"You know you dont have to dress like that to get attention from a guy." I frowned as i looked at my poor sister turning into a hoe right before my eyes. It wasn't even the way she was dressing that worried me at first. Her whole personality changed drastically. It all had to do with our father cheating on our mom.
"Yes i do or else they'll get bored and cheat. Just like how dad cheated on mom." She plopped down onto the bed. I knew it.
"Dad was stupid for cheating on mom." I rolled my eyes thinking about it.
"If you have to worry about your man getting bored and end up cheating.... then fuck him. He aint worth the time cause in the end you are just hurting yourself." I told her as she just stared at the hardwood floor.
She stayed silent for a while. "Look... i know you like Cesar and you know he likes you. Even before you entered the hoe era." I laughed. "So go for it. You go after Cesar because i guarantee you he likes you for more than just your body."
"And you too." She looked at me.
"What do you mean?" I raised an eyebrow.
"I definitely think you should go after Oscar. Get that spooky dick." She joked which made my jaw drop.
"Elaina!" I smacked her arm while laughing. "I dont even know him that well." I huffed as i got up.
"But you're still gonna get that dick?" She smirked then started laughing. She knew i was interested. I didn't have to tell her. It was sister telepathy,
"Who knows?" I laughed then walked to my room to figure out what i was going wear for my date with Oscar.
My first date in a long time. It was also my first gang member. Lets see how this goes.
