I get out of the shower and put on Luke’s clothes. I walk out of the bathroom and I bump into a hard chest. Looking up I blush when I see a smirking Beau. ‘Im sorry Beau.’ Before I could walk away he grabbed me and said ‘Don’t worry about it, beautiful.’
I run back to Luke’s room and plug in my phone. Soon after Luke walks in and sits in front of me. ‘Skyla, why were you crying at the tennis courts?’ I took a deep breath and unlocked my phone and went to my album dedicated to Sarah.
‘2 years ago- today, my baby sister died from cancer. The treatments weren’t working and she died in my arms in her hospital bed. She was only 6’
Luke looked into my eyes and said, ‘I’m sorry to hear that, I’m sure she was as beautiful as her big sister sitting in front of me.’ He then pulled me into a hug. I put my head on his chest and he kissed the top of my head.
‘It’s getting late, I’m gonna go to sleep; Goodnight Luke.’
I crawled under the big doona on the spare bed in Luke’s room. ‘Goodnight Skyla’
-The Next Morning-
I woke up to the sound of buzzing next to my head. *1 NEW TEXT* Opening the message tears were brought to my eyes.

Ignoring the text I got out of bed and checked the time. *10:05 am* I look over to Luke’s bed – he isn’t there. I walk out into the kitchen and see Luke, Jai, Beau and a young woman. “Good morning boys. Hello Mrs Brooks, you have a lovely home. I’m Skyla.’
Luke turned around and smiled, ‘Good morning Skyla.’ Mrs Brooks comes up to me and says, ‘Skyla dear, call me Gina. The boys have told me your situation, your welcome to stay as long as you need.’
‘Really Gina, I don’t want to intrude’
‘Don’t be silly, you’re welcome to stay here’
‘Thank you.’
I grab a bowl and cereal for breakfast and sit down next to Luke. ‘Did you sleep okay Sky?’ No one has ever called me Sky. ‘Yes I did Luke, thank you for everything’
After breakfast me, Beau, Luke and Jai got dressed and went to go record one of their YouTube videos. I met Daniel and James. These boys are so funny. They were barking on trains, singing songs in public and even a few *ahem* scenes. These guys are hilarious. I could’ve gotten a 6 pack from the laughing.
Luke’s POV
While we were recording I couldn’t help but notice how adorable Sky looks when she’s laughing. She looks so cute. I can’t believe this girl was on the streets and no one was going to help her. Thank God I did, otherwise she could be somewhere bad.
After recording we went to McDonald’s for lunch. I got my usual – large double quarter pounder meal. Skyla got a happy meal and the boys got their usuals. When Skyla pulled out money, I stopped her. ‘Luke let me pay for mine!’
No you need you money more than I do. Anyways I insist.’
‘Thank you Lukey’
Aw she calls me Lukey!!! While we’re eating the boys don’t mind the make absolute pigs of themselves. I eat A LOT slower like Skyla. The boys are finished within a few minutes. I’m sitting in the booth with Sky. ‘You boys are hilarious. I can’t believe I had never heard of the Janoskians.’
‘Aw thanks, I must say, I am pretty funny.’
Me and Skyla both finish eating and we head home with the other guys. On the train me and Skyla take a seat toward the back.
‘So Skyla, what don’t I know about you?’
‘Umm, I’m born on March 3rd, I’m 17, I do dancing and yeah that’s about it.’ Her birthday is the same as mine and Jai’s!! ‘Your birthday is the same day as mine and Jai’s’ ‘Aw coolies’
