Walking into the kitchen was interesting. I was busted. Last night was amazing with Skyla. Beau came up to me and pulled me into the other room.
‘What do you want Beau?’
He pretended to wipe a tear away and said, ‘my little baby brother is all grown up now. AHA was it good bro?’
I chuckled and nodded. ‘Were you smart enough to use protection?’
I nodded again and we walked into the kitchen where Sky was being bombarded with questions too.
I stole Skyla away from the boys and we went to get dressed for the day. I was gonna take her to the movies. We got dressed and put on our matching snapbacks. We got Beau to drive us to Melbourne Central. When we got there I took Skyla into her favourite shop and gave her $50 to spend on whatever she wanted. I told her to text me in half an hour.
I left her on her own and went to the jewellery store. I looked around at the bracelets and picked out an amazing sliver diamond bracelet. I asked the lady in the store to engrave on the inside – ‘forever and a day.’ I payed for the bracelet and went back to Skyla who texted me saying she was finished shopping. I had told her to choose something nice and semi-formal. I was taking her out on a date tonight.
We got the bus back to the house and I sent Skyla to get ready for our date. I hadn’t told her about my reservations and the bracelet yet. 4 hours later she came out all ready. I turned around and I swear my jaw was hanging. ‘Oh My God. Skyla you look amazing.’
She really did. She was wearing a short tight fitting green dress with green sparkles around her boobs. The dress came down to a few inches under her butt. She had black heels on and light makeup. She looked like a goddess. I had gotten ready in Jai’s room; I was in some really nice jeans and a button up shirt.
I had called a taxi 10 minutes before Skyla was ready so he was already here. I took her hand and we went out the door and into the taxi. I told the taxi driver in his ear the address and sat back down next to Sky. ‘Lukey, where are we going?’
I giggled and said, ‘You’ll see soon babe.’
When we got to the restaurant ‘La Belle.’, I payed the cab driver the fare and walked with Sky into the restaurant. I told the waitress my reservation and she took us to the table I had picked out. It looked amazing.
Skyla’s POV
We got to the restaurant and walked to the table that Luke had reserved for us. I was honestly shocked by how beautifully everything was set up. We sat down at the table and the waitress took our orders. I ordered the spaghetti and Luke ordered a penne dish.
After we had finished our meal, Luke and I were just talking about everything.
‘Thank you for tonight Lukey, I love you.’
‘It’s okay baby, you look beautiful tonight. I love you too.’
‘thanks aha are you finished?’
‘uhm yeah, hold on I have something else for you. ‘Something else? I see Luke pull out a box shaped thingy and an envelope. I open the envelope first and pull out a hotel key-card. I smile widely and open the box. There in front of me laid the most beautiful silver diamond bracelet. I pulled it out of the box and read the engraving on the back. It said – ‘forever and a day.’
I looked at Luke with a tilted head like a confused puppy and he said, ‘That’s how long I’ll love you for baby. Do you want me to put it on you?’ I nodded yes and the bracelet looked amazing on my wrist. I love it.
‘Thankyou Luke, for everything. For being my only friend when I ran away, for taking me into your home, for being the best boyfriend in the world, for tonight, for making me fall completely head over heels for you. I love you Lukey.’
Luke’s POV

‘It’s okay Skyla, I love you so much. I knew from the second I saw you on the park bench that you were special. You’re the most amazing girl in the world and I’m the luckiest guy on earth for you to be my girlfriend. I love you too Sky.’
Our moment was interrupted by Sky’s phone getting a message. I read the message for her and it said.

Hello Mandi, it’s Luke here. Once again I’m going to say this. You’re a bitch. Leave Skyla and Me alone. I DO NOT LIKE YOU and neither does Skyla. I hope you realise, you trying to ruin my relationship with Sky is only making us stronger. You’re pathetic. I hope this is the last time I see your name flash up on my girlfriends screen. One more time, I’ll make sure you get publicly ruined over the World when I make a video telling everyone what a bad ‘fan’ you are being towards me and Skyla. I hope you realise you are NEVER going to be my girlfriend and that’s a fact. I will never do anything to hurt Skyla. I hope this is the last time we have to speak. Leave me and Skyla alone. I decide to ignore her and tell Skyla that we’re going to the hotel tonight. We have to stop off home first to pack a bag. When we pull up in the cab at the front of the house, we walk in, and guess who we see on the lounge with Jai and Beau? Mandi.
