This is my first fanfiction I'm sharing with the public, so please go easy on me down there in the comments.  All of the members are my depiction of them in an alternate universe, and their actions are not like this in real life (well, a few of them might be accurate).  Hope you enjoy, and don't forget to leave feedback!

You sighed and plunked back down on your bed. Life seemed pointless. Yes, you were getting good grades in high school and had a great group of friends, and your future seemed bright . . . yet, something was missing. You had slipped into a monotonous routine: get up, eat breakfast, go to school, go home, do homework, eat dinner, take a shower, and then look at your phone before going to bed. There was nothing exciting happening, and that's what bothered you.

Your name was Y/N, and you were 17, a senior, last year of high school, that had already been accepted to some high standard colleges and universities. You had H/C hair, with E/C eyes and S/C skin. Many boys thought you were beautiful and several had asked you out, but you had turned all of them down. Now you were starting to think maybe that's what you were missing. But accepting their offer three months later would make you look like a fool, possibly desperate, and you were certain some conceited, rich popular girl would come along and steal him anyways.

You lived with your parents and older sister, Shin-ae, in a quaint house: big enough to avoid being classified as a condo, but not large enough to be classified as a rich person's mansion. Shin-ae was in her third year of college, working to get her degree in biology before going to graduate school. You had decided to pursue a job in the science and engineering field. You were top of your class in Physics, and you were also in the top three people in your AP Statistics class. Everyone envied your intelligence level, but soon it became another target for the popular girls to hit. They always whispered about how you looked like a cross between a wet dog and a birds' nest. They swayed about half of the school to hate you because you were smart and a 'nerd'. You had pride in being a nerd, and your group of plaques and trophies from math and science competitions was brighter than those girls' futures anyways.

It was about 8:00 P.M., and you were alone in the house. Your parents were on a business trip, and Shin-ae was staying the night in her friend's dorm because the drive was too far this late in the day. The unearthly quiet was giving you chills, and you decided it was better to go for a night walk than stay in the house one more second.

You turned around to lock the door, turning the key, placing it in your pocket, and setting out across the grass. Your house was somewhat isolated, with the next house being half a mile away. There were some beaten paths that started behind your house and snaked through the trees surrounding it. You and Shin-ae had always explored and played there when you were younger, so you knew it like it was etched into the back of your hand. You started walking along the path that stretched to the left.

It always calmed you down walking through the places of your childhood, amidst the stress piling on your shoulders. You were caught in your own thoughts when a rustle sounded to your right in the brush. You tensed and glanced at the very spot the bush had moved. It seemed to quiver and you saw a figure shooting away.

"Hey!" you exclaimed, but they paid you no heed. You started after them, following the dusty road that led to a clearing in the woods.

After you arrived in the open area, you finally caught a glimpse of the person you were chasing. He was peculiarly dressed, with a white coat and white pants. A chain connected the two ends of his collar together, and other chain coming from him was attached to a stopwatch. He had white hair, with white ears poking out of it, and a very handsome face, which you would've been attracted to if you had not been confused.

"I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date!" he exclaimed. He hadn't even noticed you, and jumped in the air before disappearing. You were perplexed for a second, then realized he had just jumped down a giant hole. You had never seen this hole before, not ever in your life. It had just magically appeared with no explanation. You peered down the hole into its depths, although all you could see was darkness.

You wondered if you should jump in, leaving behind this life and possibly world for whatever lay down there. You were perfectly fine living here, but your curiosity pounded in the back of your head. You made a split-second decision, took a deep breath, and jumped into the black void.

Sorry if this was a little bit short.  I wrote this a while ago and anyways, it's just an introduction.  Leave a comment to let me know how it is so far!
