I have no idea what's going to go on in this chapter, but I promise you there will be more revealed and hopefully more action.  I'm not sure if the map above is correct, but that's what I'm going to use for this fanfic.  I was thinking that they live in Wondertropolis, because I believe that's where the palace is (and where Mr. Worldwide Handsome lives).  Hope you enjoy!

You woke up and went downstairs to prepare breakfast, met by the sight of all of the council members in the kitchen.

Still miffed by RM's sudden declaration for them to disappear, you walked up to him and jabbed him in the chest with a finger.

"Hey, where did you and the other boys go yesterday?  I was left all alone with Jimin, and I demand that you tell me what's going on here!" He wasn't moved by your obstinate facade.

"In due time, Y/N, over breakfast," he chastised, turning away from your fuming form.  Huffing indignantly, you went to go help Jungkook with making breakfast.

The table was laden with pastries, pancakes, waffles, and toast, all still steaming as having been freshly baked.  Everyone was tucking into the food, and you felt rather proud.  Not having as much experience in the kitchen as you would've liked, you hoped that they wouldn't think your cooking was horrendous.

Eating much slower and with more manners than the men around the table, you had the chance to ask RM in between bites of your food, "So, tell me what really happened yesterday?" Your eyes squinted at him, a failed attempt to get him to spill the information.

He finally looked up from his plate, wiped his mouth, and settled back in his chair.  "Ah Y/N, the reason we left yesterday might disturb you in the slightest, but nevertheless, here we go.  There were some skirmishes between the rebels and and the Catabrac Tribe in BoarderLand, as the tribe is neutral.  The rebels were trying to get them to join their side by pushing down on them with force, because the Catabrac Tribe has a great many warriors and their weapons are deadly.  If they sided with the rebels, I'm afraid we would not have a great chance of winning.  Luckily we managed to get there in time to help the tribe, and in return they agreed that if we ever needed reinforcements against the rebels, they would be glad to join us."  He finished his explanation, your brain processing this new information and what it could mean for your (tentative) friends.

"I'm afraid the rebels were not happy, and are now trying to figure out a way to get back at us.  Just be prepared to fight or run at any given moment, considering you could help us in this war."

"Not like I wasn't ready to before," you muttered, offended at the thought of RM thinking you were a damsel in distress.

You could tell RM heard you say that, by the way his shoulders tensed up, but he decided to let it slide.  The other members had finished their breakfast during his description of their fight.

"Now Y/N, would you like to join me in my study to plan out battle routes?" RM asked.

Unsure if you could really be a strategist, but not wanting to be rude, you reluctantly accepted.

Currently in RM's study, a map laid out in front of you, you were trying to pinpoint key locations where you could escape or ambush the rebels.  RM was scribbling on a notepad furiously while you listed off different areas of the map.  It had been an hour since both of you had started, and while you certainly felt useful, it was getting tiring.  You had to find the different points where RM had used marker to mark them, and then list it off to him, including the areas surrounding it, vantage points, and weak places where a squadron could fall easily.  He had explained to you earlier that they did, in fact, have an army of specialized soldiers, all led by the King of Hearts, Jin, although there weren't as many of them as the rebels.  It was better, he told you, to choose spots where the rebels were forced to come to them, that way the soldiers didn't suffer as many losses.

"And right here, in the Wondronia Grounds, a plateau is there, where the archers can shoot down on the enemies.  And the only way up onto it is through a narrow canyon.  The soldiers can attack any rebels that dare to charge against them and towards the archers," you said, having already figured out the naval statistics of your side's ships to the rebels' if they commenced a battle in Fortune Bay, or if they attacked from the Valley of Mushrooms.  RM recorded all of this down, nodding his head as you spoke.

On and on you droned, until RM finally lifted his head up.  He tilted it to the side as if listening for something.  His eyes widened as he dove for you, shielded you with his body, and yelled, "Bomb!"

All you could hear was the boom of something very loud, and a push that drove you and RM into the wall.  You could feel small pieces of debris raining down on you, and a crackling of flames alerted you to the presence of fire.

After what seemed like an hour of laying there, RM stood up, grasping your hand to help you up.  His study had been reduced to shreds.  The map was a charred and shriveled-up piece of paper, his desk splintered in half.  The walls had strips of wood hanging off of them, and rubble from the ceiling had rained down, some of it breaking through the floor into the room below.

RM went to scoop up the notes he had taken, as miraculously, they had survived.  Grabbing your hand and leading you out of the room, you saw that the rest of the house was in various states of disarray.  As you passed the library, books were on fire, the furniture toppled on the floor, with the bookshelves giving into the flames.  When you went to the first floor, the living room looked like it had never been there, its walls now open to the air, and the furnishings in piles of ash.

Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung came running towards you, relief coming over them once they realized you were safe.  The five of you quickly found the other members, Suga being grumpy because it woke him up from his nap, and J-Hope annoyed by the fact it had disrupted the choreography he was practicing in his room.

RM told you, "Y/N, remember when I told you to pack the bag with supplies?  Go grab it now, quickly!"  The urgent tone in his voice made you all the more worried.

You went back up the stairs, scrambling towards your room.  Entering it, you were devastated by the sorry sight.  The bed had collapsed, the mattress singed.  The chair in the corner of the room was no longer in one piece.  Reaching for the bag by the nightstand, you slung it over your shoulder and made to leave.  Just before stepping out, you looked back and recognized the familiar cover of the intact book on the nightstand.  Smiling, remembering the memories it now sparked for you, you strode back over and picked it up, dumping it in your pack.

Once you had regrouped, RM coerced you all into a run, out of the destroyed back end of the house.  Everyone else had brought bags for their provisions, to ensure all of you wouldn't starve.  Heading towards the woods you had recognized on the map, the Whispering Woods, the members had soon started a single file line through the brush.  Looking back at the house one last time, you set your eyes ahead to the future, and let the woods swallow you up.

Wow, this turned out a lot better than I could have expected.  Sorry that you've only spent time with RM and Jimin so far.  I remember the other members, don't worry.  To clarify, the book you took is the Princess Bride.  Anyone notice the Hamilton reference in there?  Also, where could this mysterious king be?  Leave a comment down below to let me know how you like this story so far!
