So Journey is my new fantasy book, and since I'm genuinely proud of how it's gone so far, I figured I might as well promote the hell out of it.
Journey isn't in the same universe as Threads is, but I'd say they're kinda similar - medieval themed fantasy world, magic etc. but I definitely think Journey expands on these concepts a lot more. The magic is more 'realistic', the world is hella detailed (I hope :) and the main characters are much better thought out.
And yes, I said main characters. I found that Diana kinda faded into the background a lot, and I'm trying to keep better track of these guys. Also, for the first time ever, I'm going to split the perspectives between main characters, and I'll be writing from the P.O.V of guys too.
I also know that even though I had different skin colours in Threads, it was still unrepresentative. There was a lack of other cultures and everyone was straight. While I haven't put any characters in to be gay or to be black, it's another dimension in my characters because I'm trying to be less narrow minded.
Also, there are dragons in Journey. Who doesn't want dragons?
And there's romance... maybe. I'm up to like, chapter four, but it's worth a try ^.^
Also, how does everyone feel about love triangles? I realised they're kinda cliche but I didn't even think of it as a love triangle when planning the book out. Whoops. What's wrong with a little cliche anyways?
So yeah, check it out please!!
