I woke up the next morning and saw that it was noon. I checked my phone and went downstairs. My mom was in the living room watching tv, my dad had gone to his first day of work, and my brother was still sleeping. I went in the kitchen and made a bowl of oatmeal. After I finished eating I went upstairs to take a shower. Once I was out I put on my obey crop top and some jean shorts, and my black beanie. I didnt know what to do with my day. I decided to just get on my pennyboard and see where it takes me.
"Mom, I'm going to go riding around." I said
"Okay honey." she said without taking her eyes of the screen.
I grabbed my board and took off down the sidewalk. As I was riding I tried to take my phone to put my headphones in. I guess I wasn't looking where I was going because the next thing I knew I was on the ground. I had crashed into another person.
"Omg I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going!" I said.
"Dont worry about it. Its fine." the girl said.
"Hi, my names Cassandra but you can call me Cass or Cassie" I told her.
"Hi, I'm Jordan, but you can call me Jo." she said.
This girl had brown hair and brown eyes and she was kinda short.
"Hey, do you to hang out?" She asked me.
"Sure I got nothing better to do" I laughed.
"Okay great! You can come meet my friends." She offered.
"Alright, lets go" I said.
We both got back on our boards and started down the sidewalk again. She took me to the beach to meet all her friends. She must have been on here way there before we crashed. We stopped at the edge of the sand then walked over to a group of people hanging out together.
"Hey Jo!" a few people said.
"Hey guys, I brought a friend." Jo said.
"Cass this is Trevor, Alyssa, Kaylee, Mackenzie, Sam P., Kian, Sam, Connor, Jennifer, Ricky, and Jc." she said as she pointed to each person.
I noticed Jc was staring at me. I have to admit he was really hot! The whole time we were at the beach I felt his eyes on me. I tried to ignore it but I ended up deciding to talk to him.
"Hi, I'm Cass" I finally said to him.
"Hey, I'm Jc" he said.
We talked for quite awhile and we played around for awhile until we decided to all go home. Jo and the others went one way but Jc decided to walk me home. We each got on our pennyboards and rode to my house. When we got there I asked him if he wanted to come in for awhile. "Sure" he said. We went into the house, my mom was making dinner, my dad was still at work, and my brother was playing video games in the living room.
"Who's this?" my mom asked.
"This is Jc, I met him at the beach today." I answered.
"Hi, Mrs. Leigh" he said as he shook her hand.
"Mom, can he stay for dinner?" I asked my mom.
"Sure" she said.
We ran up the stairs to my room. We had talked so much at the beach that there was barely anything to talk about anymore.
"Who was that in the living room?" he asked.
"Oh, that's my brother Tommy" I replied.
"Ohh" he said.
We heard the door open downstairs. That must have been my dad. A few minutes later my mom called us all to dinner. We went down to the table to eat. My mom made lasagna. Me and Jc sat next to each other at the table. While we were all eating my brother of coarse had to say something.
" So Cass, who's this?" he said with a smirk.
"This is Jc" I replied.
I knew he was going to say something that was gonna make me kill him later.
"When did you meet him?" he asked.
"We met t the beach today." I said.
"Oh hot damn! You met her today and your already here for dinner!?" He said.
I just put my head down and prayed that he would shut up.
"I bet I'll catch you two making out on the front porch too!" he said with a laugh.
"Tommy! You be nice to our guest!" my mom said.
Thank the lord for my mom! Tommy is going to die tonight! After dinner I walked Jc out.
"I'm sorry about my brother. He's such an asshole!" I said.
"Its okay" he said.
"I'll kick his ass later!" I said with a laugh.
I noticed he started to lean into me. I got scared so I just said goodnight. I watched him snap back to reality he said goodnight too.
I went inside to kick my brothers ass.
"You retard! We are just friends." I yelled
I jumped on his back and started punch him as hard as I could.
"Hey! You two stop it!" my dad yelled.
We stopped but I gave him an evil look. I went upstairs to my room and got ready for bed. I checked my phone and realized I had a text from Jc...
