Within the next 5 minutes Jc showed up at the pier. As I turned around I saw him jump off his penny board and run to me.
"Cass, what's wrong!?" He said scared.
I took out my phone and showed him the messages from Alex.
"Who the fuck is this guy?!" He said angrily.
"He's a friend from home, who I used to have a crush on and he liked me to." I replied.
"If this guy ever says anything like this again tell me and I'll handle him!" Jc said.
"Okay" I said.
I rested my head on his shoulder and started to sob a little. I started to think about the things I said to Alex. I didn't know why I would have ever said those things. Alex and I have a long history.. I know I still love him. And Jc I've only met a few days ago but I think I'm falling for him also. I started to become so overwhelmed that I started to cry my eyes out. Jc held me close to him. He kept rocking me and rubbing my back and telling me it would all be okay. After about 10 minutes of continuous crying I finally calmed down. I put my thoughts behind me for awhile.
"Do you want me to take you home?" He asked.
I nodded. We walked to my house holding hands. He walked me up to my front door. I could have sworn we were about to kiss but then the door swung open. It was my dad.
"Where have you been!?" He yelled.
"I was at the pier!" I said.
"Get in this house NOW!" He yelled at me.
I said goodbye to Jc and walked into the house. My dad shut the door and he continued to yell at me but I just ignored him and walked to my room. I was so stressed I decided to take a hot bath. I layed there for about an hour. I got into my comfiest pajamas. I put my headphones in and fell asleep to my love song playlist.
