The next morning I woke up to a text from Alex.
Alex💕: Goodmorning Beautiful! ❤️
I couldn't believe it! With the night I had just had I forgot all about Alex. I had so many thoughts racing threw my mind. "Should I tell him" I thought. I decided not to. What he doesn't know won't hurt him.
Cassie😘: Goodmorning my love! 💋
I looked out my window and felt the sunshine on my face. When I walked downstairs I looked at the clock and noticed it was only 9:30 a.m. "No wonder no one is up" I thought to myself. I decided to go get some coffee at Starbucks. I took a shower and got dressed into high waisted shorts and a long sleeve black and white shirt. I hit the streets on my penny board. I reached Starbucks within 10 minutes. I love living so close to everything! I ordered my usual, a Carmel latte! When I got my drink I walked to a nearby fountain, and sat down. Being at this fountain reminded me of home. I felt a little sad and started to think about my friends at home. I snapped out of my sadness when a boy stopped in front of me.
"Hi, why are you alone?" The boy asked.
"Hey, I just don't have really anyone to hang out with" I said.
"Well do you mind if I hang here with you?" He asked.
"No" I replied.
The boy was a little taller than me. He had his hair done in a sorta quiff hairdo. He was a very neat and put together guy. His eyes were sparkly.
"My name is Connor" he said.
"I'm Cassandra, but you can call me Cassie" I told him.
We talked for quite awhile. He knew Jordan and Jc. He told me was supposed to be at the beach yesterday but he got busy at the last minute. We exchanged numbers, and when I finished my drink I left. I checked my phone and saw I had a text from Alex.
Alex💕: Someone told me you've been seen with another guy?
I felt my stomach drop!
Cassie😘: What do you mean?
Alex💕: Some guy posted on Instagram a picture with you!? His name was Jc! 😠
Cassie😘: Yea, he's my friend, I met him at the beach yesterday. Why does it matter?
Alex💕: The caption was "Met the most amazing, beautiful girl today! I think I'm in love! ❤️"
Cassie😘: Well that's not my fucking fault!!
Alex💕: I don't want you hanging out with him any more! Or else I'm going to come down there and kick his ass! 😠
Cassie😘: Your not my boyfriend! You can't tell me what to do!
Alex💕: But I love you!
Cassie😘: Don't talk to me until you fix your whole attitude!
After that I stopped answering him. I started to feel tears well up in my eyes. I held them back as long as I could but it just became too much so I started balling my eyes out! I ran out of my house as I heard my mom calling me from behind. I didn't stop I just kept running! I ran all the way to the edge of the pier and say down and looked out over the moonlight on the ocean. I took out my phone and texted Jc.
