Talking

Rebecca's POV

Jackson and I came back to the pack house and I haven't been stressed out more. My pack was going to war with one I never knew of till now. I have no clue what their attacking strategy is. While I was deep in thought Jackson spoke up.

"So what happens now?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well now that you have a mate, what does that mean?" he then asked.

"I don't know nor do I care. All we need to focus on is the upcoming fights" I said as we were about to enter the pack house.

"Also don't bring up the fact I have a mate, got it?" I said to him as he nodded. We both then walked to our office. We both sat in silence as we were both thinking. Then someone came into the room immediately making me smile.

I jumped from my seat and ran over to her. It was my best friend and her mate. I haven't seen her ever since she left the pack house to live with her mate. She was the only one who was with me when things became tense and when I became alpha.

We both hugged for like 5 minutes before Jackson coughed making us stop. "I've missed you so much Rebecca!" She exclaimed. "I missed you too Hailey!" I exclaimed back.

"Jackson, you have the rest of the day off, just keep your guard up" I told him and he left with Hailey's mate. "Can we get out of this office?" she asked and I nodded.

When we left the office my facial expression turned neutral and we entered my room. I closed the door and my smile came right back on my face.

"Your still trying to be intimidating aren't you?" she asked and I nodded.

"It's difficult being a female alpha. If I go soft then they will think I'm just a weak woman. Not even a woman a girl, a weak girl!" I exclaimed.

We both took a seat a couch I have in my room. (look at picture above to see bedroom) "Taylor, is he treating you right?" I asked her.
(Taylor is hailey's mate)

"Hes treating me more than right if you know what I mean" she said wiggling her eyebrows making me grow disgusted.

"My poor innocent ears" I said as Hailey just laughed.

"So you haven't found your mate yet?" Hailey asked.

"Well...errr..... I might've recently found him" I said to her making her shocked.

"Did I hear you right?!?" She asked and I nodded.

"MY BEST FRIEND FOUND HE-" Hailey started shouting before I covered her mouth.

"This stays between us okay" I told her before she started freaking out.

"Your keeping your mate a secret?!? Why?" She asked.

"I don't need one, I need to focus on my pack" I said. I felt my wolf become angered.

"Is this more than that?" She asked and I became silent.

"Listen, I know your past was rough and I know you don't to attach to anyone but this is your mate we are talking about" Hailey sad as I was starting to remember the past.

"Can we stop talking about this?" I asked as she nodded.

"Just know you won't be able to deny your feelings for him and they will come out at some point" She said to me.

"One last question pweaseeeeeee" Hailey asked begging like a child. I laughed and nodded letting her know she can ask. "Whats his name?"

"His name is Jimin, Park Jimin"
