Layla's POV

We were walking down the driveway and to the car. I reached to open the door but jack beat me to it and opened the door for me. He waited for me to get in then he closed it and walked over the the drivers side. Once he was in the car he turned to me.
"Sooo what do you wanna do now?" He asked
"I thought I was going home" I chuckled
"Well we could do that but that's boringgg" he said exaggerating a lot.
"How about we go to the park and hang out or something?" I suggest, I secretly just wanted to have a reason to go to the park hehe.
    "Okay that sounds fun" he said shrugging his shoulders. So he drove off to the nearest park. Once we arrived we sat down under a tree. I took a video of him captioning it "this dude🙈" cause I'm original like that :) .  Then I got an idea...
    "TAG YOU'RE IT" I yelled as I tagged him on the shoulder. And ran away as fast as I could.  He sat there in shock but quickly got up and started chasing me.  I ran to a nearby bench as waited for him to catch up once he did I ran towards the playground running up the stairs and doing some mad parkour skills.  Not gonna lie, I am impressed with my unknown skills at parkour if I do say so myself *Dramaticly flips hair.* now I'm underneath a slide and Jack hasn't found me yet but I hear footsteps coming closer and I get into a position so if he does come I can run away quickly.  Then it got unusually quiet then I turned to my right to see jack slowly walking towards me trying to be sneaky.   But before he reached me I ran and darted(An:Darted kept autocorrecting to farted just thought you guys should know that) up the nearest tree.  I could hear jack running after me but soon I was safe high up in a tree.  I don't know how I climbed the tree so fast honestly, and I also have absolutely no idea how I'm getting down.  Jack stood at the bottom of the tree looking up at me as he smirked. 
    "You have no idea how you're getting down right?" He chuckled.
    "No, I can get down." I stated unsurely.
    "Okay good luck with that" he responded sarcastically.  That's it I'm gonna have to jump.  I climb down a few branches so I'm closer to the ground.
    "Okay one, two, and threeeee" I said while letting go of the tree and leaning forward.  I closed my eyes as I waited for impact with the ground.  But instead of my body meeting the ground I felt a pair of arms catch me.  I open my eyes to see none other than SHAWN MENDES... haha nah just kidding it was Jack.  "Thanks for not letting me faceplant" I blushed and giggled very awkwardly might I add.
    "No problem, I would never let you just faceplant." He chuckled looking into my eyes as our faces started getting closer and closer.  "Hey Layla?" He said
    "Yea" I responded our faces only centimeters apart. 
    "Tag, you're it" he smirked and put me down running away as fast as he could. But I can easily catch up because I'm pretty fast
    "NOPE NOT TODAY!"  I exclaim and I quickly catch up to him and tackle him to the ground.  "Haha gotchu" I laughed as I rolled off of him and onto the ground next to him, we're now looking at the beautiful blue sky.
    "I will get you, when you're least expecting it" he chuckled.
    "Yea Yea Yea," I scoffed. "HEY LOOK THAT CLOUD LOOKS LIKE A BUNNY." I exclaimed pointing up to a cloud excitedly.
    "Actually to me that looks like a oven mitt" he shurgged and I playfully slapped his shoulder"
    "Whattt?" He laughed and I just playfully rolled my eyes at him.
    "You ready to drive me home?" I asked him.
    "NoooOooooo, I don't wanna go back to the house of monkeys" pouted before he let or a little laugh.
    "Sure Avery, that's why you don't wanna take me home." I joked.
    "What do you mean" he furrowed his eyebrows and snickered.
    "What I mean is, you like being with me so so so so much you don't want to be without me." I teased.
    "Yea and what if that's true?" He shrugged smirking.  I could feel my face heat up as he said that.  He started getting closer.  I felt butterflies erupt in my stomach and I was getting sorta nervous, I hate how he has that affect on me.
    "T-then um." I struggled to come up with a comeback.
    "Am I making you nervous princess?" He smirked while whispering into my ear. 
    "N-no" I said
    "Okay whatever you say" he smirked and pulled away and started walking to his car.  I followed behind him still kind of shocked about what just happened.  I also plan on getting him back.  Once I get to the car Jack opens the door for me and walks to the other side of the car.  He gets in and turns the car on. 
    "So where we off to next?" He asked.
    "Um my house?" I giggled he just looked at me and pouted
    "Whyyy" he frowned.
    "Because I want to take a shower." I said in response.  "How about you just hang out at my house for awhile?  Will that stop this little tantrum of yours" I laughed and he shook his head yes like a little boy when you ask him if he wants to go to the candy factory.
    "Off to the Adams residence." He pointed forward as he put the car in drive and made his way to my house.  Once we arrived I noticed my moms car was in the driveway.  After I noticed this I got really excited and started rising jack out of the car.
    "Come on Come on Come on Jackkkk." I said pulling him out of the car. 
    "Why are you so excited" he laughed.
    "My moms home you get to finally meet her" I gleamed.  Then he stopped dead in his tracks.
    "Your moms in there?" He pointed towards the house as he started to look worried.
    "Yea, why do you look so worried?"  I asked him
    "Because Lay, What if she doesn't like me?" He says worriedly.
    "Jack she'll love you.  I promise" I smiled
    "Promise?" He asked hesitantly.
    "Yes I promise she knows I have good judgement on people." I responded.
    "Okay then." He said as we started walking inside the house.
    "Mom I'm home and I brought a friend." I said loud enough so she could hear.  My mom came running towards the front door.
     "Oh hey ad-" she started to say but then realized Jack was definitely not Addie.  "Oh, who might this be?" My mom asked smirking.
    "Mom this is my friend Jack. Jack this is my mom."  I introduced.
    "Nice to met you Miss Adams." He smiled and stuck his hand out for my mom to shake it.  She gladly shook his hand.
    "Nice to meet you too Jack, But please call me Linda." She smiled.  "Well I have to get back to cooking, are you staying for dinner?" My mom asked.
    "No I don't want to intrude." Jack said quickly.
    "None sense, from now on you're always welcome.  Please stay for dinner" she asked.
    "Okay I guess I'm staying for dinner" he chuckled as my mom clapped her hands excitedly and walked back into the kitchen.
    "Wanna go upstairs?" I asked but instantly regretted it because I saw a smirk spread across Jack's face.  "Not like that you pervert" I laughed and slapped his arm.  He just shrugged and walked up the stairs.  Once we got to my room we both sat down on my bed.
    "Wanna watch a movie or play a board game or something?" I asked
    "I'm fine with a movie" he stated. "Okay what do you wanna watch" he said as I turned on Netflix.
     "How about Moana?!" I said excitedly. Don't judge, I am still a child at heart.
    "Fine with me" he said as I clicked on the movie.  We were about halfway through the movie when I decided to get my revenge bwhahaha.  So I decided to grab his hand and intertwine our fingers.  He looked up at me and blushed I moved closer to his face.  I could tell he got flustered as I could see his cheeks turn red.  I leaned over to his ear.  "Do I make you nervous prince?" I asked smirking re wording what he had told me earlier.   He shook his head no. "If you say so..." I said as I pulled away and mouthed payback.  Then, out of nowhere, he...
